It is a complete guide. I recorded the complete project and I didn't want to cut footage and make it into one video. I thought the viewers will appreciate one video for each part of the project. This way I can cover everything and keep these videos informative and at the same time short. Thank you for watching and have a great day

Yes, hvac companies charge too much money. I installed a 5 ton split system 20 years ago and its still working great. Installed line set, new ducts, built a plenum... Did pay for lines to be brazed and system charged.

I wanted to have someone else do the work because I am busy with work and another project, however, the best price for a new unit in my area (condenser, air handler, plastic slap, new drain pan, and new thermostat) plus labor was $11400. I did the same work plus concert slap and rubber base, new lines, duct work, built better air handler hanging system, complete new drain system and new wires for less than $4400. I also sold the scrap for about $400 so the total cost was about $4000. It took me three days (about 12 hours of labor) just because I did additional work and I had to work on something else. Thank you for watching. Happy New Year.
