  • In this video you will learn how to make a very simple emergency stove out of common household items. This project shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to complete and can be a very useful tool in a pinch. I have actually used this on more than one occasion and it really does work very well. Being a Florida native has taught me how to survive in times of crisis (Tropical Storms and Hurricanes) and this is definitely one to remember if you are ever in a emergency situation

When you put it in the sink it looks like it's set into something, a can maybe? What is that? Is it for something?

It's just a cut down can to set a pot on top of with holes around the top edge to allow for some airflow. Hope you enjoyed the video.. It's been years since I have been active with the channel, but I'm hopefully getting ready to start back up again. Have some cool projects lined up plus one VERY cool (and quite frankly advanced) project in the works so make sure you are subscribed so you don't miss it!

@@makerscorner93 Thanks for getting back to me. I fell across you when I was trying to figure out how to build a tabletop indoor fire pit. There's a lot to learn if you're starting from zero. Alcohol doesn't burn like you'd think (or like an indoor city girl who' never done anything even remotely like this would think). I learned a lot from you. Thank you.
