    You played the etude beautifully. I am working on this etude currently. What are the grace notes that are to be played after the first note. I cannot figure them out for the life of me.

    Is the “a tempo” in the last line measure 46 referring to the tempo at the beginning of the entire etude or the tempo at the key change into A major section? I’m hearing it done both ways.

    Wouldnt there have to be a D at the end of the second turn in measure 3 then followed by the dotted 16th D, 32nd E?

      Great question! IMO, you do not have to play the D twice in the second turn. Just add E-D-C# between the two Ds written.

      @@LanceSuzukiI think since there’s a slur over that turn, the D would be added to the turn, and just connect to the dotted 16th D. I’m probably wrong, that’s just how I see it.

      everything is natural unless there are accidentals, for the second part there is a key change
