You played the etude beautifully. I am working on this etude currently. What are the grace notes that are to be played after the first note. I cannot figure them out for the life of me.
Is the “a tempo” in the last line measure 46 referring to the tempo at the beginning of the entire etude or the tempo at the key change into A major section? I’m hearing it done both ways.
@@LanceSuzukiI think since there’s a slur over that turn, the D would be added to the turn, and just connect to the dotted 16th D. I’m probably wrong, that’s just how I see it.
The kids in Texas who are lucky enough to have watched this video are at a distinct advantage! I have enjoyed this video and your performance.

Wouldnt there have to be a D at the end of the second turn in measure 3 then followed by the dotted 16th D, 32nd E?
Great question! IMO, you do not have to play the D twice in the second turn. Just add E-D-C# between the two Ds written.

What key is this in?
everything is natural unless there are accidentals, for the second part there is a key change
how do you play like the first measure cuz I don’t understand the little sign
I explain which notes to play in the tutorial. Check out around 6:45 and happy practicing.
