The way she said “ I was trying to do the chase method and idk if I burnt my finger but I sure let that baby go” and then she lets go of the comb. I was dying🤣🤣
Georgeous hair and braid out in the end, far more attractive than bone straight hair by a long way (to me, anyway!) You must have turned all kinds of heads if you stepped out like that.
My hair turns out the same...BUT Etae' made my hair turn out so bomb! It's stayed straight for 3 weeks...with only one or two passes on 300°...hair burns at 450° - u should do a review! And absolutely not heat damage whatsoever!
The trick is to put a serum on the hair prior to flat ironing, right after you blow dry, then flat iron....my hair never use to get flat either, even when I would put it on 450 until I tried that method...next time try that method and thank me later...:)
Angelee Chin So no serum prior to blow drying? Just blow dry, then serum, then flat iron? I'm going to be straightening my hair for the first time ever and I'm looking for the best method...TIA!
Omg I’ve watched so many “Silk Press” videos and my hair will not get bone straight either, like on the videos. My last attempt on this hair style is rapping it with silk wrap and sitting under the dryer. Most diy videos don’t do it, but the salon methods do, so if that doesn’t work imma call it a day and be thankful for what I got lol 🤷🏽♀️.... good video your hair looks gorgeous
Thank you 😊 Nowadays I never really expect my hair to come out like the videos (or the rest of the world) I know my hair doesn’t like me well enough to cooperate 😂😭
I have 4c hair and used exactly the same products this past weekend and my hair came out exactly the same as yours. I have that same flat iron and everything! 😊. My hair never comes out super bone straight and I’m scared that I’ll burn it so I only do 2 passes also. I also trimmed mine and can’t wrap my hair to save my life. Lol. It’s raining this week so I added moisturizer and put it in a bun so it was good while it lasted. Haha Loved your video and your hair. Thanks
I think there is something we are not doing right. I watched so many video s on high porosity hair and flat iron hair and still get the same results. I give up
If you ever want pin straight hair, I recommend straightening the hair down, rather than out. In the video you're pulling your hair to the side when running the plates over it. Try pulling it down while straightening. Gorgeous hair either way though!!
😊 awesome video, thanks for sharing your process. The funniest part was you trying to wrap your hair🤣. If you don't mind, my suggestion (if you EVER try straight hair again) part your hair at the crown of your head (a front and back section). And proceed from there. It helps make it a little easier 😊. But overall, I enjoyed watching your video.
Pretty hair. I bet if you go to a Dominican Salon and they get your hair BONE Straight. I Remember I went a few times they had my hair blowing in the wind bone straight. Great video.
I just watched your video.... you have beautiful healthy hair.... thinking of buying hsi for my nieces....they have thick beautiful hair like you.... your video very helpful
Beautiful hair I think you should do the tension method first before you rake through your hair with that blow dryer attachment my butt cheeks crinched watching you rake through your shrunken hair to get straight with it your ends will love you for the tension method helps not have breakage on your ends😊....
Lool wrapping was such a struggle because of how big those comb teeth were sis! You need a brush to press the hair flat or a small, tight toothed comb when you wrap. The wide teeth would cause a lot of air and separation, which is what you’re trying to combat by wrapping in the first place. Lol I was rooting for you every time you tried to rewrap. Very nice.
😂😂😂😩😩😩 I have no clue what to do with straight hair lol I’ll remember to try a Brush next time 😊👌🏾 thanks for having hope even though I failed anyway lol
I feel you on the blowout look. I just straightened my hair for the first time in yeeears a few days ago and it didn't turn out as planned lol. I had it on 385 then boosted it to 400 and it still wasn't enough so next time Imma just try 420+
I recently tried again and cranked the heat a little higher and got better results 😊 but then you just have to hope you don’t over do it and get heat damage 😩🙏🏾
@@CarrieJo0801 A lot of you tubers are recommending the Babyliss Titanium flat iron. The Titanium maintains even heat and gives shine to the hair. I will be flat ironing soon with it. My results always end up with some texture which is still pretty. Your result was very nice.
Girl hair can be stressful. I do not do my own hair. I go to Dominican salon or a hairstylist that specializes in natural hair they make my hair straight and bouncy . more hair you have the more stress it can be.
Yeah. I tried it again on a higher setting and it did come out better. I’ve always wanted a Chi but I feel like I wouldn’t use it enough to justify the price 😩
@@CarrieJo0801 Girl... I've had mine for at least 13 years. It was definitely worth the investment at the time. The plates are still intact....no scratches, no visible signs of wear and tear. Now that I'm natural (4c), I find the key to nice smooth presses are a) healthy hair and b) just a little bit of product. At first I was using too many products for my blow dry/flat iron. I really like your results. Full hair looks better to me.
Thank you 😊

I’ve been thinking about trying the Etae products for a while but was afraid of the after effects 🤔🤔 I’ll definitely do a review if I do 👌🏾😊

Reminds me of when I
used to have a Herstyler. I stooped using it a few years ago due to having to wear a mask while using it.
Literally I love it than over sleek press

See them comb attachments was thinning out ny ends I stopped using them how are your ends maintaining?
I only did this once a year so it wasn’t frequent enough for me to notice a change but I can definitely see how it would be bad for your ends 🥺
Gorgeous results!!! I would really love to see you do a review of Straight Silk Spray by JuniorLabs. It really keeps my hair soft and flowy ❤️❤️❤️

How long you've been natural at this point in the video and how long natural in 2020

You have really pretty eyes
How your hair so long 😭
Just patience and care 💜
Don't put oil on hair before flat iron. You will be frying your hair.
I'll take that advice from here on too, thanks
Thank you 😊 i thought about that too but I figured since it came with the flatirons maybe it was different lol 😩🤷🏾♀️#NeverAgain
Have you ever acted with Ken erics Nigerian😲😲
No, I haven’t
Nice girl
Thank you 😊
Your hair wasn't rapping because you kept combing the middle back
ما شاء الله اجمل فتاة سمراء في العالم
My guess is the iron wasn't hot enough. I have that iron. Don't like it. Went back to my old faithful chi.
