I’m curious, I believe the receiver is set to camera gain which may be pre-set per camera if selected. However, if you’re connecting instead to the mixer, what gain setting are you using even before you set gain levels on your mixer ?
[deleted comment] It looked like you were getting no signal into channel 2 of the pre-amp and that you were actually recording the other channel (not the Rode receiver), so I was going to ask you to repeat your test because I had tried the same thing and not got it to work. However, I think I must have had a dodgy cable or adapter - I've repeated the test on my Rode AI-1 interface (stereo output from Rode RX into a 3.5mm stereo headphone adaptor) and it does indeed work.
@@johngwheeler it’s actually a good point !…I did go onto show it working with the quantum as well so I think the concept works , but I’m got to check with the Revelator as I was indeed in channel 2 !
Thanks for this video - I am trying to use the Wireless Go with my apollo interface and I am using a trs to XLR adaptor. I am getting level but it's really quiet and I have set the level to highest on the Rode app. I have to have the level all the way up in logic on that track and it's still not loud enough, so then I crank the gain way up and I get more level but a ton of hiss! any ideas why my level seems to be so low? thanks again
@@jamesemerson4102 hi….yeah someone else has commented about the Apollo IO, the level with my Revelator is low but the lewitt seems better, I assume it’s the pre Amps. ..I might put a post on the Rode Subreddit and see how they respond….maybe DM the other user in this thread and see how they got on.Thanks for watching!
I am getting 0 signal when I am plugging the receiver via a quarter inch TRS adapter into my Apollo interface. I am clearly seeing the signal on the receiver but nothing arrives at the interface. Not sure what is happening?
@@Newmusicreview So I take the 3.5 mm cable from the Rode, put a TRS adapter to quarter inch on it and go into the input 2 of the Quad Cortex where there is a whole vocal path set up. That then goes into powered full range monitors together with the guitar signal that is on input one with its own signal path. I can clearly see vocal signal arriving at the Rode receiver and I know from interfacing the Apollo in the same way, same cable, same adapter that it also goes out from there with decent signal strength. But for some reason, nothing is arriving at the QC (looking at the input signal in the signal overview screen) and hence also nothing comes out. If I stick a SM58 into input 2 of the QC it is fine - I have a strong, clear nice sounding signal.
@@franknguitars7671 Mmm...a bit odd, Ive had it working on the Lewitt connect 6, the revelator, the quantum 2626, though they are all dedicated interfaces, maybe the QC as a guitar FX is a little different but I cant see why...try the Rode support, ?

Thank you! I can't figure out why it wasn't working for others

Are you using the balanced Mic / line input ?..You may also need the gain cranked up
@@Newmusicreview Thank you! I finally figured it out. At least with my interface it works now but from my Quad Corted I am still getting zero signal.
@@franknguitars7671 You mean no signal from the Quad outputs into the apollo?
