Takes me bvb ack to Muchmusic in the late 80s / early 90s. Good times for art in Canada. This band never really blew up, but could have been big.

I was working at a guys house in Winnipeg recently and I asked him about his guitar collection. I think he said he's done studio work or live work with bands (I forget) but I started mentioning bands and Sloan came up. He said one guy was nice but the guitarist was not 😂

I've loved this song since I first heard in back in the 90s. It's got just a touch of progressive rock elements that really set it apart yet it's radio friendly.
Todd Rundgren influence. He produced their biggest hit, and their discography is a lot like Todd's power pop
