I genuinely don’t understand why some people think us Hufflepuff aren’t as bold, ambitious, or smart as the other houses? Hufflepuffs are what balances the houses and just want everyone to be fair. It breaks my heart to know some people think that and look down on us like we’re irrelevant :’(
Stop trying to compete with the traits that makes another house. You can't be as ambitious as a Slytherin. itelligent as a Ravenclaw. Brave as a Gryffindor. But thoae three can't be as kind and fair as a Hufflepuff

@@jouzu2477 Harry was supposed to be in Slytherin because he had the ambition and the desire to prove himself, but he urged the sorting hat to put him in Gryffindor because he chose bravery. Hermione is more of a ravenclaw than a griffyndor, with her wit, wisdom, and intelligence, instead, she was sorted into the house of bravery because that particular trait is what she valued the most. All of the houses share similar traits and values. You can't be loyal without being brave and you can't be ambitious without being intelligent

This is honestly the best Hufflepuff house video ever. None of those crappy songs either and instead a beautiful melody. Im not saying modern songs are bad since there are actually some really good ones. But what im saying is people picked a song that they thought would fit with Hufflepuff but instead it turned out the other way around. Good job mate. You will make people actually accept, and even get used to being a Hufflepuff until eventually start genuinely liking, instead if lying to themselves that they do. This comes from a Hufflepuff who thought they were a slytherin for such a long while. I know i would probably make a great fit in slytherin but i value Hufflepuff traits slightly more then slytherin. (Gryffindor in 4th place: i believe i would definitely make a good fit there but i just believe that it's always important to be brave and take risks sometimes. In other words i like to think things through. Ravenclaw in 3th place for me. 2th being slytherin. And Hufflepuff 1th. Now i definitely think i am a mix of all the four houses as i fo value all their traits quite highly, some even max. But for me Hufflepuff won )
I'm so fucking proud to be part of this house. i don't mean to be ignorant or anything- but Hufflepuff is the superior house of Hogwarts in my opinion. All the people who belong to this house, just look at how amazing they all turned out. What I love most of our small group of people is that we don't need recognition for our work. We do the most for others and our greater good. black and yellow for the win
My personal narration of what Hufflepuff means to me: I'm often told I am too *kind*, even to those seemingly undeserving of it. I believe in an often cruel world with harsh realities, kindness can be hard to come by, even if just a smile from a stranger. Through the 17 years of life I have lived, I have heard many stories already of hardships and have faced many myself...however no matter how hard the times have gotten, I have never let it make me bitter or cold...i have only ever gained empathy. Many people have told me I give them *hope*. Friends, family and people I hardly know. So will I stop being "too kind" ? No. But I will learn to protect myself in the process. This is what being a hufflepuff means to me.
