That’s what I like about the Fantastic Beasts series. It seems like the main villain is Grindelwald, but for us Potterheads, we know that Newt doesn’t defeat him, Dumbledore does. So while Newt is our protagonist, he’s not the hero. While he knows Grindelwald is bad, he’s not solely fighting him because he’s bad, he’s fighting him to save Credence.

The ironic thing is I watched the 1st film for the 1st time ever one week before that - actually as it was online I saw part of it Friday night and watched the rest on Saturday. You can not convince me that he is not autistic because he is simply too precious, and I love the fact that a disorder like this is being portrayed by a main protagonist of such a popular franchise
