But if it’s just job wise, or for something good that doesn’t involve in taking over the world by murder and deception, then I agree with you. Ravenclaws, or at least the majority of them, don’t have time to try to gain power. Because they go after knowledge and wisdom.

I have sometimes lost track of more important things like eating or doing school work because i was too busy indulging myself in whatever interested me at that time. I've always seen Ravenclaws as dreamers, hearing of new worlds and possibilities, and the excitement that comes with it. Wanting so badly to explore everything, to express their creativity and the beauty they see in the world. So because of this, they set themselves to reach for the stars, and become more.
The way you’ve viewed Ravenclaws are entirely true. I’ve always been in my own world with different types of creativity. Ravenclaws tend to be loners because majority of the people would rather just play video games or play sports allot , while the Ravenclaws want to spent time learning new things. And I’m not saying we are always reading books instead of hanging out with our friends, but we have a separate value of life.

I don't think all slytherins would agree on that. I think slytherins do value intelligence and if not knowledge, they do value the clever use of information/knowledge and their surroundings that are key to pursue their ambitions. Ravenclaws can get "lost" in the pursuit of knowledge (aka lose track of their goals), slytherins don't because they use it more practically. Little Finger's quote fits well in this video (and I love it) but Little Finger would most likely be sorted into Slytherin.

Slytherins and Ravenclaw are very similar in my opinion. Slytherin knows that if you want to get your the top you have to be smart on how to play the game. Slytherins are very smart people too, just look how Draco came second place after Hermione.
I think that Slytherins mostly want knowledge so that they could get more powerful and use the knowledge for their goals, Ravenclaws want knowledge to test their limits and fullfill their curiosity. That's my humble opinion, I'm a Proud Slytherin so no hate on either houses.

Ravenclaws are always in the background. Every house apart from them has had a major role to play in the HP universe. Sure, we got Luna, but was she was only introduced in the last two books. Ravenclaws are way too overshadowed. They're not just nerds and know-it-alls. They see the beauty in every little detail, see the work put into every piece of music, see the wonder in every piece of art. Ravenclaws are brave because they *want* to explore the unknown. They *want* to understand it. Humanity sees the unknown as something dangerous because we simply don't understand it. Ravenclaws are courageous because they seek to understand. They are cunning because they see every outcome in every situation. They are kind because they understand emotion and empathy. They are wise because they take the time to listen. The universe is a loud place, one that many see as too loud. They try to drown it out, they try to ignore it. The universe was made to be known, made to be wondered at, made to be understood. Ravenclaws see this and listen to what the universe has to say. You may not be a ravenclaw like me or the many others on this planet. But every now and again, listen to the universe. It will tell you things that no one will ever teach you.

Lauren brought me to these beautiful music pieces which later on became my favorites, and I always come back to her videos because they’re so perfectly done and unforgettable! The music, the voice lines, the clips, I think she also filtered the clips to match each house’s color theme? ( so thoughtful!) I love being a ravenclaw. To be able to explore new ways of thinking, to be open and welcoming all aspects of thinking... this is what gives us as human beings true freedom. One can never be free and good hearted if he/she doesn't have the capacity to put himself in someone else's shoes. And for that imagination is required.
As a Hufflepuff, I agree with that. I believe there was a time when we were an under appreciated house,, but everyone complaining about it took that away.

I like how you described that Ravenclaw can be a bit of darker compere to the Slytherin as well. It's true that some people in this house can be twisted with the obsession not only knowledge, but also a chaos that isn't just a bit because chaos is a like a ladder that person tries to get through it, but immediately fails, because he or she knew that he or she could not go there to try again, because the fall is the easy task to make things breaking up as it all falls down. But the truth when person has a little hesitation of fear to find something just a little too much more and nothing all. He or she knew that humanity can be hardly reborn as a stars as they set out like ancient seafarers to explore the limitless oceans of space, but no matter how far we venture the unknown the worst fear is a monsters who are those they bring to theirselves. It's like a fear that we scared to get lost and see the things that they are haunting them for their own selves like a nightmare that they trapped inside of it. Even if only the ladder is real they can climb which it meant to be a 'going through it'. That's how the word 'climb' is all meaning to this. The whole world was filled with the great cities, arts, and musics that is still out there and waiting for the people who could visit every places were that creativity was part any of it. So that's how things can being called 'creative' of this beauty of this world were people lived and fascinated because of this. Not just of the 'creativity', but also because of the 'curiosity' that every person got the best of it to see and wanting know more of these things that never seen before in his or her ordinary life. That's how what we believe says who we are. The word belief can bring salvation or destruction, but when you a lie for too long, the truth doesn't set you free. It tears you apart. Okay, I'll admit that when I was first sorted into ravenclaw, I was a bit disappointed because I wanted to be in hufflepuff or thought I belonged there anyway. But this video makes me so proud to have been sorted into ravenclaw! And makes me realise how much I actually resonate with the ravenclaw traits. Awesome work!

I love all of your Hogwarts House videos, but this one is a personal favourite of mine, simply because it's my house and I feel so represented by this video. I think you really hit the nail with this one because it shows a lot of different aspects to Ravenclaw that people might not necessarily consider. The only thing I was kind of missing is the aspects of Ravenclaw that Luna represented for me, which were acceptance of people, who are different, and creativity. Of course, these aspects are not limited to Ravenclaws nor do all of them possess it but since I loved Luna so dearly I found myself missing these aspects dearly. Anyway, I think you did a really great job and I hope you will continue making Hogwarts House videos.
When I found out that I was a ravenclaw I laughed because im not known for being smart at all but I then realized that I've always wanted to go down the paths of being a detective and learning the reasons as to why people do certain things and that's when I realized I was a ravenclaw I'm not book smart but I am creative smart 🦅

Like traveling and seeing the world. (Also love that I ended up watching the show that the voiceover is from after seeing this and it’s from my favorite most relatable character Klaus)
The way you so perfectly have captured different sides of Ravenclaw is just beautiful. People really have this misconception that it’s a house that consists of smart people and that’s all there is to Ravenclaw, but there is SO much more and most of that has nothing to do with academics. I’m not even in Ravenclaw (my house is Slytherin) but this truly enchanted me 💖
I know that I'm a ravenclaw when I get lost in music, art and daydreams. When I dream of worlds no one has explored, when I dream of tragic stories about love, freedom and friendship. Those are the three things that makes a human human. When I get lost in space, imagining all the star constellations and the galaxies and black holes, the nebulas and the possibility of life out there. When I think about life and what it actually is. When I get lost in my own thoughts and in my own imagination that everything around me seems unreal. That's how I know that I'm a ravenclaw.
This whole video speaks a lot to me. As a fellow ravenclaw i found out i was one when i always knew i needed to know more information. Crucial information. I was and still am so curious on the afterlife. I want to know whats beyond death but knowing that i cant hurts me mentally. Its hard really. I need to know EVERYTHING. i don't know how many times I've watched this since the first time i saw this but it still gives me that very same feeling i felt the first time i watched this. ravenclaw, is truly a beautiful house. ravenclaw isn't just about intelligence, ravenclaw is creative and ravenclaw has wisdom. i can't somehow implore what im trying to say but wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure.
Well, think it like this. We like to explore worlds, explore our minds, learn and we are mostly curious but we like to use that knowledge, that curiosity, to get more 'power'. Or as I call it, 'to be better'. And we like to keep our options open. Like you are in an environment that clearly doesn't like Slytherin and you can say 'I'm a Ravenclaw!' and not lie at all! Yes these all seem like Slytherin things but we ARE half (maybe more than half) Slytherin. We just have a side that values knowledge and the other that values power. Good for us! Knowledge is power! Yay! By the way, as you can see, there are mixed houses. There aren't just four type of personalities and everyone us different. (Even I have a Griff side and I scoff at them most of the time!)

For example I have the traits of both a Slytherin and a Raven claw, but I'm not in both houses because my heart is full Ravenclaw (and I was sorted into it). I don't think you can be in two houses cause that's unfair, but I think you can be a slytherclaw in a sense where u have the traits of both houses. I wasn't sure if that's what you were getting at, and I'm sorry if I seemed rude.

This is wonderful. I think Little Finger's quote about the ladder might fit better with a Slytherin aesthetic because "they'll do anything to get what they want", but the quote about "fear of finding too much or too little" is spot on.

We are quiet well many people say, but I think us ravenclaws have the loudest minds. We see things differently,and not many people can understand.For me, I love literature, I love books, why? Cause my body is too afraid of going outside, so I let my mind travel different worlds all the time. I am so emotional, I can cry for little things. I thought it was a weakness, but I just feel everything differently. I value knowledge, education. They may not make you rich in money but they sure will make you understand life more, be able to see in new perspective, and understand others perspective.

I have never felt so proud of being a Ravenclaw ever in my life as the way i felt while watching this video. I don’t actually think words can describe how I felt during this. These days I was feeling so lost and I felt like I did’t belong anywhere but when I whatched this I saw everything different. Ravenclaws are not just wise, we are powerful. We are so brave to unveil our own knowledge, to fight our own demons. We are MUCH more than just books and cleverness.

The way you’ve viewed Ravenclaws are entirely true. I’ve always been in my own world with different types of creativity. Ravenclaws tend to be loners because majority of the people would rather just play video games or play sports allot , while the Ravenclaws want to spent time learning new things. And I’m not saying we are always reading books instead of hanging out with our friends, but we have a separate value of life.

I don't think all slytherins would agree on that. I think slytherins do value intelligence and if not knowledge, they do value the clever use of information/knowledge and their surroundings that are key to pursue their ambitions. Ravenclaws can get "lost" in the pursuit of knowledge (aka lose track of their goals), slytherins don't because they use it more practically. Little Finger's quote fits well in this video (and I love it) but Little Finger would most likely be sorted into Slytherin.

Slytherins and Ravenclaw are very similar in my opinion. Slytherin knows that if you want to get your the top you have to be smart on how to play the game. Slytherins are very smart people too, just look how Draco came second place after Hermione.
I think that Slytherins mostly want knowledge so that they could get more powerful and use the knowledge for their goals, Ravenclaws want knowledge to test their limits and fullfill their curiosity. That's my humble opinion, I'm a Proud Slytherin so no hate on either houses.

Ravenclaws are always in the background. Every house apart from them has had a major role to play in the HP universe. Sure, we got Luna, but was she was only introduced in the last two books. Ravenclaws are way too overshadowed. They're not just nerds and know-it-alls. They see the beauty in every little detail, see the work put into every piece of music, see the wonder in every piece of art. Ravenclaws are brave because they *want* to explore the unknown. They *want* to understand it. Humanity sees the unknown as something dangerous because we simply don't understand it. Ravenclaws are courageous because they seek to understand. They are cunning because they see every outcome in every situation. They are kind because they understand emotion and empathy. They are wise because they take the time to listen. The universe is a loud place, one that many see as too loud. They try to drown it out, they try to ignore it. The universe was made to be known, made to be wondered at, made to be understood. Ravenclaws see this and listen to what the universe has to say. You may not be a ravenclaw like me or the many others on this planet. But every now and again, listen to the universe. It will tell you things that no one will ever teach you.

Lauren brought me to these beautiful music pieces which later on became my favorites, and I always come back to her videos because they’re so perfectly done and unforgettable! The music, the voice lines, the clips, I think she also filtered the clips to match each house’s color theme? ( so thoughtful!) And the editing, goodness... it brings all the materials together and elevates them to a whole other level! God I love her.

I like how you described that Ravenclaw can be a bit of darker compere to the Slytherin as well. It's true that some people in this house can be twisted with the obsession not only knowledge, but also a chaos that isn't just a bit because chaos is a like a ladder that person tries to get through it, but immediately fails, because he or she knew that he or she could not go there to try again, because the fall is the easy task to make things breaking up as it all falls down.
But the truth when person has a little hesitation of fear to find something just a little too much more and nothing all. He or she knew that humanity can be hardly reborn as a stars as they set out like ancient seafarers to explore the limitless oceans of space, but no matter how far we venture the unknown the worst fear is a monsters who are those they bring to theirselves. It's like a fear that we scared to get lost and see the things that they are haunting them for their own selves like a nightmare that they trapped inside of it.
Even if only the ladder is real they can climb which it meant to be a 'going through it'. That's how the word 'climb' is all meaning to this.
The whole world was filled with the great cities, arts, and musics that is still out there and waiting for the people who could visit every places were that creativity was part any of it. So that's how things can being called 'creative' of this beauty of this world were people lived and fascinated because of this. Not just of the 'creativity', but also because of the 'curiosity' that every person got the best of it to see and wanting know more of these things that never seen before in his or her ordinary life.
That's how what we believe says who we are. The word belief can bring salvation or destruction, but when you a lie for too long, the truth doesn't set you free. It tears you apart.
Because that's why knowledge is a power and wisdom is a control.

Okay, I'll admit that when I was first sorted into ravenclaw, I was a bit disappointed because I wanted to be in hufflepuff or thought I belonged there anyway. I love all of your Hogwarts House videos, but this one is a personal favourite of mine, simply because it's my house and I feel so represented by this video. I think you really hit the nail with this one because it shows a lot of different aspects to Ravenclaw that people might not necessarily consider. The only thing I was kind of missing is the aspects of Ravenclaw that Luna represented for me, which were acceptance of people, who are different, and creativity. Of course, these aspects are not limited to Ravenclaws nor do all of them possess it but since I loved Luna so dearly I found myself missing these aspects dearly. Anyway, I think you did a really great job and I hope you will continue making Hogwarts House videos.

The way you so perfectly have captured different sides of Ravenclaw is just beautiful. People really have this misconception that it’s a house that consists of smart people and that’s all there is to Ravenclaw, but there is SO much more and most of that has nothing to do with academics. I know that I'm a ravenclaw when I get lost in music, art and daydreams. When I dream of worlds no one has explored, when I dream of tragic stories about love, freedom and friendship. Those are the three things that makes a human human. When I get lost in space, imagining all the star constellations and the galaxies and black holes, the nebulas and the possibility of life out there. When I think about life and what it actually is. When I get lost in my own thoughts and in my own imagination that everything around me seems unreal. That's how I know that I'm a ravenclaw.
This whole video speaks a lot to me. As a fellow ravenclaw i found out i was one when i always knew i needed to know more information. Crucial information. Well, think it like this. We like to explore worlds, explore our minds, learn and we are mostly curious but we like to use that knowledge, that curiosity, to get more 'power'. Or as I call it, 'to be better'. And we like to keep our options open. Like you are in an environment that clearly doesn't like Slytherin and you can say 'I'm a Ravenclaw!' and not lie at all! Yes these all seem like Slytherin things but we ARE half (maybe more than half) Slytherin. We just have a side that values knowledge and the other that values power. Good for us! Knowledge is power! Yay! By the way, as you can see, there are mixed houses. There aren't just four type of personalities and everyone us different. (Even I have a Griff side and I scoff at them most of the time!)

For example I have the traits of both a Slytherin and a Raven claw, but I'm not in both houses because my heart is full Ravenclaw (and I was sorted into it). I don't think you can be in two houses cause that's unfair, but I think you can be a slytherclaw in a sense where u have the traits of both houses. This is wonderful. I think Little Finger's quote about the ladder might fit better with a Slytherin aesthetic because "they'll do anything to get what they want", but the quote about "fear of finding too much or too little" is spot on.

We are quiet well many people say, but I think us ravenclaws have the loudest minds. We see things differently,and not many people can understand.For me, I love literature, I love books, why? Cause my body is too afraid of going outside, so I let my mind travel different worlds all the time. I am so emotional, I can cry for little things. I thought it was a weakness, but I just feel everything differently. I value knowledge, education. They may not make you rich in money but they sure will make you understand life more, be able to see in new perspective, and understand others perspective.

I was not ready. I've been eagerly awaiting for this since I saw your other vids and I adore this to bits. I really like how you explored the good and bad sides of Ravenclaw. Your editing, the voiceovers, and the footage you used - this is gorgeous. My little Ravenclaw heart is happy as can be.
Power may reside with Slytherin House, Loyalty and Hard work to Hufflepuff and Boldness to Gryffindor. However, originality and genius resides with Ravenclaw. A lot of people ignore Ravenclaw entirely, it was never about just being smart. True genius is the ability to think creatively and enjoy solving complex problems.
