Thanks for the video but you didn't show how you got to the screen that you were editing on. I can't find that screen anywhere in Max. Are you editing with the footage in the Quick app, on your device, in the Cloud? To me, the most important step is how you got to the screen that you were editing from....
Hey Rick! Thanks for pointing that out. Unfortunately I do not have it anymore so I can mess with it to give you that info. I remember it was still tricky to find in the GoPro app, the Quik one i believe.
I'd really like to know where I can go for instructions on how to edit the 360 with the Max. Keyboard shortcuts, etc. Any link to point to? I watched the vid a second time and at 5:16 you say, 'put a dot here, keyframe here, bam'. I have no idea what or where that is.
Hey Paul! Unfortunately I’m not much help for you on that. I edited all the videos you saw in the video using the GoPro app on my phone, which was really easy to do! I’d recommend that method since the user experience is really easy!
Very good videos and didactics. I have problems installing the gopro player application, it asks me to update the NET Framework in some version, do you have any idea what the problem would be? Thanks a lot
Hey man! Thanks for the feedback, appreciate it! Hmm, unfortunately I don’t know about that, never ran into that issue. I don’t have it anymore but it worked smoothly for me on the editing side
Can i use this as a security cam in my car. How long does battery last till needs next charge. Will it film inside of cabin and outside of front window simultaneously?
That's honestly a really good question, I don't see why not! You would just have to have multiple batteries or some sort of charging source, not sure if there's one for the MAX. Each battery last about 1.5 hrs or so. It films everything around it, you just have to move the view around like I do in the app. Honestly would be a good security cam if you can make it work! Thanks for watching!
When recording 360. Does it save as it goes so footage isn't lost? Can you record 360 for an hour plus straight without stopping etc. Set and forget for example
Hey chris! No I don’t believe so. Pretty much the same process as any other camera recording video, if anything malfunctions with the camera or SD card, you could lose the footage. And yes! You can probably record a little over an hour in 360 mode 5.4k before the battery dies. Thanks for watching!
@@AndreiRestrepo Thanks. I went to the GoPro site and to get the Max for $400 they force a subscription on you. Does the reframing editor require their subscription because THAT would be a def dealbreaker.
Interesting, I use the GoPro app and did ally he 360 video editing on my phone, pretty easy! But the GoPro app was free and connected with the GoPro fine. Is that the desktop version? Maybe more perks or something?
Gotta problem with my Max. When I record in 360° mode and start the Quik app. I only see a black screen. But the sound is there. What’s the problem now. I use a iPhone 11pro. I tried it with a XS and iPad 2017 10.5 And both was working. Maybe someone can help.
@@AndreiRestrepo Its updated. I solved the Problem. It was my Phone. Still dont know what it was. But its working now. I have reset the settings But I still don't know what the problem was
You can actually shoot “normal wide” photos on the GoPro! You just turn the fisheye distortion off so all your lines are straight when you take a photo. If it’s a 360 photo, you can zoom in and pick a section of the photo and use that. Hope this help, thanks for watching!
I actually don’t have it anymore so I can’t give you step by step. But, if I remember correctly, once you take a 360 photo on the GoPro, import the footage in the app, you can preview and simply zoom in, zoom out, completely reframe the photo how you want, then export it, hope this helps!
It's NOT waterproof - only water-resistant to 5 meters. The instructions say not to submerge, although some have done so in pools with mixed results. It's an expensive risk, but remember, if you put it under water and it fails - you've just voided your warranty.
Not sure if you can unless you photoshop it out! I know insta360 cameras can do that with their software but I didn’t see anything like that for the go pro
What do you think would be awesome to shoot with a 360 camera!? Let me know below!
Yes definitely it would be awesome with 360° . You are creating amazing
Thanks .
And now following you on Instagram .
Jet Skiing or Grand Canyon. lol Great vid dude! Did you try vlogging with it?
Thanks so much! Appreciate it greatly!
Down for EITHER. Nope! Rained all weekend, but don’t think it could be an option for us, but maybe someone new to it!!
@@AndreiRestrepo NICE! Wish I had a 360 cam
I was really seeking the info. It was a crazy day for editing. Thanks for the post!!!
Okay thanks for the feedback!
Those additional snap on lenses, I was told, allows it to film underwater

You just have to edit it on your phone on the "GoPro Quik" app
On order now. Cheers..

If you plug it into an external powerbank it will stay on forever, however storage would be an issue

Still want to try out a 360 cam. Thx for making me want to buy things :P You gonna buy one??
I think I just might for the next big trip! Whenever that is!
5:03 to get to the freakin point. Next.
Is there a way to set the home point orientation for 360 photos or is it FIXED?
Hey Tim! Yes, you can take a 360 photo and set the home point, zoom in or out as well!
@@AndreiRestrepo could you detail the workflow for this?

Good video thanks. Would have liked to have a bit more on editing features.
Thanks for the feedback! Do you own one? How do you like it?
Yeah, okay, I'm very late and I apologize for being so late but I didn't received any notification so I didn't knew about this video #AndreiRestrepo
Welcome back! Make sure all your notifications are on for my channel. Thanks for watching man!
Hero 9?
I've actually enjoyed the IS360 cameras instead for any 360 video needs lately!
