    My problem with the social media "trad wife" is that they are making money. They are not financially independent. Some are models as well and their platforms can bring in more than a full-time job. So it's actually going against what they are preaching. Do as I say, not as I do. So women trying to emulate them, will quit their jobs, and stay home and when the husband finds someone else (who probably works) they will not have the finances or experience to sustain their lives. Why are there so many divorced women?

      EXACTLY what I said! 👏🏻👏🏻 They're selling this "trad wife" brand but not being fully transparent about their lives with their followers. They all make money on their own and are not really dependable on their husband. Pretty hypocritical if you ask me. It's like the Kardashians claiming they get they bodies from weight loss teas and protein shakes and not plastic surgery. 🙄

      Women in traditional roles have made money since the beginning? Most women did something to earn extra money and it didn’t take away from the fact the man still tended to be the main one contributing to a house hold. (Selling eggs, canned food, sewing, laundering, garden surplus, weaving) the list goes on and on. I doubt most of these influencers make a huge amount of money, minus the model, who really doesn’t say she is a trad wife. She literally just likes to cook and is Christian I believe. Second implying that if you stay home your husband will leave you? Many women do stay home and have happy marriages. Why would staying home be equivalent to cheating?

      @elizabethzajac7591 Thank you for your comment, Liz. I think you misunderstood what I said. I don't think being a stay-at-home wife makes a man cheat on you. Actually, statistics show that men cheat more on working women because they're focused on their careers and always so busy that the man feels like no attention is paid to him. I was just naming scenarios that can happen to us and that we all should be prepared IN CASE something like that happens.
      I also agree that (some) women always had side "hustles." During my mother's times, women were selling Tupperware or were Avon ladies. I know I'm repeating myself 😅 but I just wish the women who are "teaching" young girls out there to be trad wives were more transparent. It's not hard to say "Your hubby is the main provider and you're supposed to tend for him but you can also turn your hobbies and passions into work, like I do here on YT and IG. You can contribute to the household or just treat yourself to a mani & pedi."

      @@denisespieces4744 I did just misunderstand the cheating thing.
      But I don’t see why we need more messaging about being a boss babe. I’m a stay at home mom. And I get told constantly ways I can make money, but it’s pretty rare, especially in main stream media to see a mom of young kids that looks happy to be home. Most of them seem sad and depressed which isn’t the case for me or my friends. So I enjoy seeing people who like staying home and taking care of their families. My mom didn’t watch Martha Stewart for financial advice. Sometimes it’s nice to enjoy home making and leave financial advice to people who know more of what they are talking about.

    4:45 nah sis. She didn't address it properly. A lot of men only become abusive AFTER they have you, after the pregnancy or kids, after you stop working... she's blaming women for being abused because that's the 'choose better' narrative.

    I feel like everyone uses trad wide as an umbrella term. If you post a video of you nicely dressed and cooking you are automatically a read wife. But honestly good for them. They seem like they are happy and having fun.

    Denise. Super-interesting, instructive and (mainly) educational vid.
    In my opinion the toxic feminism we experience today is the new machismo.
    For me what is the feminism ? : that women think and act as they want. Without anyone telling them how and when to do it.
    Women should have the same rights and duties as men in ALL aspects of Life.
    I totally agree with every word you said. And l hope, hopefully, that many women have LEARNED, by watching this vid, not only about your personal experiences with this, but also the powerful message that everything you said contains.
    I'd like to expand more but l fear that l'd run out of space on RUclips. Lol!!
    One more thing (l promise) : you're a very intelligent, classy, cultured, simple Woman, beautiful, very well informed about the topics you discuss on your amazing channel.
    Many people still don't know what they're missing by not watching your channel.
    I trust that they'll know very soon.
    Thank you so much for posting.
    I wish you an incredible Sunday and a week filled with Health, peace, success and many Blessings.
    Sincere wishes extended to your whole life.
    Be careful.

    Bruh why spend the time on something so frankly mid. At least make a real breakfast desert like pancakes. Something that actually doesn't taste good store bought and requires being home made. This is really extra for a flex. But ok y'know maybe home made cinnamon toast crunch actually makes a difference idk

    everything bad you say about men can be said the same about women, things happen to both in the same way. what he could do, she could do too. you are not very objective, or rather not at all, and women like you don't understand that a woman can be very happy even when married, the fact that you didn't succeed doesn't mean that your personal failure is a common failure, we are all happily married here for years, me for 30 years.

      Hi Alain! Thanks for joining the conversation. It's always nice to get a man's perspective. 🙏🏻 First of all, congratulations on 30 years of marriage!! 👏🏻💞 That is amazing and a big accomplishment. I mean that.
      I'm not sure where you got that I was married... 😅 I have been, though, in many relationships that didn't work out. Sometimes, it was my fault, sometimes my partner's fault and sometimes things just ran its course. I really don't think people who get a divorce are "failures," as you called it. People grow apart, and I think the years they made a marriage work are a success in itself.
      Trust me, I know women can do everything men do. I actually think women cheat as much as men.🙊 The point of the video wasn't to bad mouth men but to show these influencers are "selling" a lifestyle that them themselves are not really following. There is nothing wrong with being a homemaker, but be transparent with your viewers. They all have a backup plan to fall on if things fall apart.
      Lastly, I never said a woman can NOT be happy married. Of course they can! My sister loves to cook and clean for her husband (she's also a teacher), and they've been happily married for yeeeeears. 😊

      @alain1970 4 месяца назад

      @@denisespieces4744 This is where the problem lies with those who bring forth toxic feminism.
      If your sister lived alone she would have to clean and cook anyway. Or do you think she would live fast and in filth? So when you say he cooks and cleans for her husband you are deliberately mystifying the reality of a toxic feminism that only wants to demonize and criminalize men. You live alone... don't you eat? Don't do laundry? Don't you clean the toilet or leave it filthy because you are a free woman?

      It's mostly women who do more work when in a relationship.
      When both work full time, most of the household work is done by the woman
      Men just behave like the woman they move in with is their New mother.
      And he benefits from that.
      While she is wasting her time.

    • @CordeliaWagner1999
      @CordeliaWagner1999 4 месяца назад

      Marriage is a worthless outdated Custom.
      It's no accomplishment to stay married, especially for a man when he benefits from her work.
      A LOT of men are married to women they don't even like just because they life is more comfortable by having a servant

    • @denisespieces4744
      @denisespieces4744  4 месяца назад +1

      @@CordeliaWagner1999 Especially when kids are involved. Even if both parents work full time, in 90% of the cases, a mother is still more hands on. It's just nature. Example: growing up when the electricity went out at my house and all the lights were off, we screamed "MOM!!" and not "dad!". 😆 No shade to all the hard working or single dads out there though.
      My other point in the video was that there's a difference between a "trad wife" and a stay home wife. It has to be an equal, respectful partnership. Just because the man is the "provider", doesn't mean he can have power over his wife.
