keep in mind that most people who speak any second language have trouble with unfamiliar accents... he clearly doesn't understand what she's saying and is winging it. what they should have done is given him a pre-write of her questions in both korean and english so that he could have a chance to fine-tune his answers

I am so happy for him, coz i've seen his worst interviews and I came to terms with the fact that he doesn't express well in English. But now that he's way past his worst, I feel happy watching every single one of his interviews.

he's doing great considering english is not a second language in korea. i think he's very smart to be able to converse in english this well. he'll grow better in time.. love you rain... you're one of God's greatest gifts to us, your diverse talent is amazing...Long live Rain!!!

Rain , great great job you have done. He is relax, gentle, incredible handsome and more fluently in English interview.
