I heard A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is being adapted to a series for BBC Three, so you predicted that! No release date yet. I just finished the third book and it got crazy

We don’t talk about the divergent adaptation 🙈 agree the seven year slip would make a great adaptation, fingers crossed we get one!!

Great video idea! I would like to see the Renegades books by Marissa Meyer adapted. I would also love one of my favorite middle grade books adapted: Petey by Ben Michaelsen

I think Malibu Rising would make a good movie! It reminds me of Dazed and Confused how it all takes places in one day and leads up to a party!

EDIT: Just found it’s on Kindle Unlimited. Yay!
I added ‘The Last One’ To my library Wish List when you first shared it. After listening to you mention it in so many videos, I’ve bumped it up myTBR and placed a hold. It’s got a long wait list, but I hope to read it in Feb. 😊

Carrie Soto would be amazing as a show! I can’t wait for the Evelyn Hugo adaptation! I was so disappointed in the One True Loves adaptation! It was awful 😞 Something about the way it was filmed was terrible. There were scenes that were so uncomfortable and unnecessary. Just stick to the book

One True Loves preview makes the movie look like a rom-com. I haven't watched it but I don't think it's a good adaption. That would be so fun if they adapted Will Dean's book.

One true loves was so rushed I didn’t like it In movie form. I loved Daisy jones so much I think they did very well. I agree with killers of a certain age I would love to see that in movie form

I have a top 10 list of comics/YA books that could be adapted.
    10. The Wicked Deep - Has problematic elements, but a great atmosphere. A movie or miniseries could be appointment viewing every october.
    9. Virals - Has two things that would seem to appeal to executives - name recognition from being wirtten by Kathy Reichs of Bones fame, and the "same but different" feeling of being sort of a science fiction take on werewolves.
    8. 100 bullets - dark comic about revenge
    7. The Sixth Gun - almost happened years ago, would like to see it get another shot
    6. Song of the Lioness - girl pretends to be a boy to become a knight. Could be the next great screen heroine.
    5. Finishing School series - another possible new Katniss or Buffy. Girl is sent to finishing school that turns out to be a training school for assasins.
    4. insignia - Harry Potter meets Ender's Game without the problematic authors.
    3. Renegades - betting on the superhero boom not being done just yet.
    2. Die - kids get sucked into the world of their roleplaying game. They make it out, only to return decades later.
    1. Fear Street - looks like this will actually happen, with a new movie coming out that will be an adaptation of the books, unlike the original story of the first movies.
