If I where that kid I would remember that moment for most of my life that was a amazing act of kindness so simple but you don't see it everyday.
I doubt he will remember to bring it now he will think someone will help him again should've left him then he would've remembered

Part of it could be he just didn’t have enough to get more stuff in time for the game too maybe. It’s not like he’s working at that age. (I don’t play airsoft so no clue what things cost tbh)

@@BlackflagAirsoftgood on you. I was overprepped mainly. Was nicknamed The Sherpa hence i brought ammo and drinks for days in a seperated backpack. Like,once,i brought a 13 men squad double the quantity of energy drinks,plus snacks.

How you treated this kid is so important. When a kid believes people are behind them and aren’t tearing them down, they can spread their wings, but if you just told him he was stupid me might’ve never showed up again. He still will learn his lesson (hopefully) and you encouraged him to keep trying.

I used to do things like this when I was younger. People would give me a hard time and I’d give up on my hobbies. I went to drinking and haven’t stopped. Much respect for your kindness. This world needs more people like you. You have no idea how important people like you are to this world. Thank you for being a nice person.

Dont give up the fight. I tried to quit smoking for Years and i finally done it. You can do it too! You are obviously a kind hearted person, youre important and you matter. Never let anyone tell you otherwise. They just do it to cope with their own insecurities.

I love how he was able to laugh at himself, shows maturity. Kids growing up good. I hated being a sensitive kid and it took me a while to not get super embarrassed and just give up, i woulda just been like “well imma just go home” and avoided everything. But this kid is cool and brave. Those types of kids do really good in life

When I was 12 I played at t1 airsoft in Oklahoma City. I had no friends, no one my aged, and couldn’t make convo with the older guys so I sat alone. Never had much help and had to figure stuff out on my own.
There are a lot of fine details in airsoft, very easy for a kid without parental support to make many many mistakes and find themselves in a situation like the one above. Helping the kid out means a lot more to them than you think.
The way he said I will do my best he sounded so determined to make you happy I really hope you trying to adopt that kid
that kid will remember that forever, probably made his day

As a man and as an enjoyer of any hobby you should, when possible, help the new people with your hobby. They are the future of it and especially kids will always remember the nice man who helped them and they will spread the love when they can.

As someone who was once a very vocal 10 y/o on COD, cool dudes who are chill and actually help a little bit were great boons to me at that age. They helped make the gaming community (and i assume kodt communities) feel more welcoming to new comers which is always nice.

When ur a kid and you mess up at things you love and want to be good at it can be so hard to regain that confidence especially when nobody seems to want to help or cares but you showed integrity through this situation and that kid was protected from a lot of disappointment will probably be very confident with a sense of community during his next game
