Thanks Janice! The brush is a synthetic 2/0 from the Russian brand Kolos, but its quite worn out and I don't use it anymore. I now have couple of tiny brushes from Escoda and looks like they will last much longer - the Perla synthetic series.
I would like to ask about the very first brush you used after drawing. I already looked at your affiliate links it wasn't there. It wasn't the Escoda Perla White #8 it had a wired neck. Thank you for sharing your eloquent skills. Thomas
Thanks for the question Thomas! The very first brush I used is a round squirrel brush, that is also usually called a mop brush (or a wash brush) and quite common to use with watercolors. The specific one that I use is made by a local brand, so it's not available on Amazon or any international art supply websites and unfortunately I never tried any alternatives that I can recommend.
Thanks Tosia, I used different mixes of Naples Yellow Red (no. 224 in pans) in Van Gogh - its this very light, almost peachy color that I was loving recently and some pinks & reds like Quinacridone rose, Rose and probably Carmine from Nevskaya Palitra. Hope this helps!
Loved painting these from life. Leave a comment if you have any questions - I'll do my best to help.
I hope you enjoy! -Anna

People who uses "such" brushes are not a Botanist, but rather, an artist!
