Have that problem with the low profile tri fold. Didn’t know I had to do extra carving on the railing.

The bed rails on that truck are massive. My dodge barely has an inch exposed after the tonneau is installed.

I dont remove the bars. I just lift the tent off with a hoist. if I need to carry something big in the bed I just remove the cross bars with the 8 bolts but the brackets always stay on.

nope. if you put the weather seal all the way around it works great!
