wait, so fuji only has 2 unique skills? Damn, Disgaea 7 is a let down. Never played 6 but if people are saying its an improvement over 6 then as long as the devs are listening, I'll still support the franchise. It needs more skills, the models are great but the animation is lack luster. It needs to be more snappy and fast. They also need to make on map skills again and use the dimensional teleportation animation for the ultimate skills. They also need to tone down reusing asset. Im kinda pissed of that they had to use a recolored version of the main antagonist of disgaea 5 for a small fry. I mean, what's the deal with that?
They get accès to a 3rd Skill via their Legendary weapon 7 is an improvement to 6 only in 3D graphisme Characters on D7 are Mountain buster max so that why they don't have flashy skill like others game
Personally I think they definitely need to touch up the skill animations, like, I'm so used to the final skills for ALL the weapons being ridiculous, like Big Bang is still ridiculous, the character's punch DESTROYS THE EARTH and CREATES A WHOLE NEW SOLAR SYSTEM, the others.....are REALLY lackluster in comparison to that, like on a similar vibe, the gun's could've had them open up a Black Hole/Tear in space that would destroy the planet as well or something, The Axe?, Split the planet in half.

Yup this when compared to disgaea 5 is just terrible,the animations are slow and look low budget,gives the impression that this was made for the switch and ported to the ps4 and steam
@@BAIGAMING I don’t think they’re as good as 5. But the facial expressions and such really add to the characters something that you can’t get in 5. Like all of Yeyasu’s specials wouldn’t really work in the older games imo
The skills are so flacid. It doesn't feel like there's much, in some cases, impact at all. These are just boring cutscenes. Ao's are especially lame. In the earlier games a attack being a cutscene meant it was very powerful and was going to be a spectacle.
Definitely, the 2D animations were significantly better. I hope they keep improving the 3D animations moving forward but man I miss 2D too, NISA had phenomenal spritework for decades.
What the heck fuji the main mc has only 2 unique skill???!!!!!! I was hoping his final skill kinda cutting down a mountain or a whole planet! Disappointed!!! And how the heck the heroes in this game defeat mugai??!! Mugai final skill is basically he punch so hard and destroy the universe! While our main heroes most impressive feat is maybe suisen turning into a battle ship and possible destroyed a whole country. In the past games like for example disgaea 5 The Red guy with muscles (forgot his name) final skill is he got so big like solar system level and destroy the whole entire solar system with his bare hand.
Oh yeah Red Magnus had really amazing animations. Disgaea 7 had better animations than 6 but nothing can compare to 5's animations they were phenomenal.

The skills feels like the new mobile gacha turnbased games, I think the older skills are way better?
Yeah 5 had amazing animations. 6 was bad, but 7 improved, maybe they can make skills better for Disgaea 8.

You are but they definitely improved some animations from Disgaea 6. It's not as good as Disgaea 5's animations but it's improving every few games.
