  • On the final day of Dakini Empowerment, Khyabje Shechen Rabjam Rinpoche emphasized the importance of how we should treat women after receiving the Dakini empowerment.
He also clarified the difference between "Ani" (ཨ་ནི) and "Ane" (ཨ་ནེ). The term "Ani" is used for women who have taken vows and are ordained as Bikshu or Novice (Getshulma), while "Ane" refers to the Sherab ma (wife) or spiritual partner of a Ngagpa (Lay Practitioner). Therefore, it is important to use these terms correctly in our society.
Rinpoche further shared that regardless of gender, anyone who serves the Buddha Dharma and sentient beings can be equally called Trulku for men and Khandro for women.
