Phenomenal episode. Damn phenomenal. While last week's episode was better structurally, this was better narratively. Seeing Hayden as Anakin/Vader was truly amazing. I didn't grow up with the Prequels, but I thought Hayden was giving chicken sht and tried his hardest to make chicken salad. His performances in Obi-Wan and Ahsoka are proof positive that a great script does wonders. Also, the way Ahsoka acts after that experience is telling for a multitude of reasons. Also also, Jacen being force-sensitive is interesting. Again, I'm not a massive SW fan, but I continuously like what I see so far. I don't know what the final 3 episodes of this show will entail, but I'm really intrigued to see what's next.
9:56 I think this line by Anakin answers why Night Mothers sensed the "reek of Jedi" in Sabine. The lineage of her ancestral masters beginning with Yoda are embodied in Sabine. That's why "it is dangerous."
I feel like, of these, Eric was the only one who really understood what was going on (or at least the only one who mentioned it in real time); the lesson Anakin was teaching and the choice/change in mindset Ahsoka had to make. Everyone else is just like "look, clone wars!". That's not the point!
I find that Eric and Kyle generally have the more insightful comments regard Star Wars lore. Both are great sources of info and help keep the right tone for me.🙏🏾✌🏾
I didn’t watch them either but the excitement from this crew of reactors is sooooo helpful in understanding what’s at stake. New Rockstars has a great 4 part summary of Rebels that’s also very helpful. Also Disney+ has a few “playlists” of relevant shows that provide backstory. But the joy on the faces of this crew is infectious!🙏🏾✌🏾
This show has everything that makes Star Wars so great!
... WITHOUT being held back by Lucas' friggin' TERRIBLE dialogue.
Agreed!!! Between this, The Mandalorian and Andor I’m excited about the universe again! Let’s go!!!🙏🏾✌🏾
Lets goo! Great work getting this up in a fast time! Very excited to see everyones reaction.
Ming Qiu's fight choreography is simply AMAZING!
To have so many fights and not have them feel repetitive is a testament to Ming’s skill. Ming’s killing it!!!!🙏🏾✌🏾
It cannot be mere chance that Mando and Bo Katan as well had a baptism as well as Ahsoka at the same time
For some reason I feel like Sabine is headed to Mandalore. I can see her and Bo Katan interacting.🙏🏾
