I've heard so many stories from other players about his crazy work ethic that it's sometimes unbelievable... he had a workout called the blackout and he would make teammates do this workout with him where they have to make 100 shots from so many different spots on the court and then repeat it so many times to where they started see black spots and almost passing out..man will always be a legend... RIP KOBE!!!

When we’re young fans, we think these guys are just naturally talented. Then as we grow up and become adults, we learn that some of these guy are demons with their work ethic. They thank god for their natural talent by doing all they can to improve upon it. Amazing.

@@avery6994 not fully true. He hurt himself with his workouts. At a certain point his workouts did more harm than good… he could’ve had the same skill level even if he cut his workouts down to the point that he didn’t fatigue himself, he would’ve literally been BETTER, not worse

@@Chris-2 The thing is with Kobe it wasn’t the work ethic per se, it was his mentality. This video perfectly exemplifies it. To Kobe, it’s a mental game. Both to his opponent and himself, in order for him to believe he was the best, he had to work harder than everybody else. If he worked smarter not harder, Kobe’s mindset would not accept that and it would’ve made him a worse player.

Well when you're a pro and don't miss that many. Make one every 3-5 seconds. There's like 3600 seconds in an hour. So 5400 seconds.
So he will need to make a shot every 13.5 seconds if he did was shoot for the hour and half.
If he only shot for an hour, he would need to make one every 9 seconds.
Thats not that many. Im in the gym (24 hour fitness) for about 8-12 hours a day 5-6 days a week. Yesterday i saw someone STILL there at 4am, usually its empty by then or its a new person walking in, but we had to make 10 threes from 7 spots around the perimeter and we both made them within 15 minutes, then did a new drill requiring about 35 makes, it was a run up, shoot, then backpeddle back, and repeat drill that took another 10 minutes around. Its really not that hard to put up too many shots, especially if you're in the NBA. 105 makes in 25 minutes, being just threes, so imagine mid-range mixed, not too tough to hit 400.
