Girl I did not want another home until I saw how excited you were and watching u un pack.I been divorced 14 years and had been living in upscale apts.....like having a mortgage..my children are grown and now I have Grands..you and them makes me want to get another one..We will see, until then I will continue to watch you and your joyfulness..
Every time I see you and how happy you look moving into your new place, I tear up with joy for you and your family. I have been through so much in the last 7 years, moving from place to place and being in an unstable situation, in part, as a result of my husbands military career. So, when I see your smile and how excited you are it just encourages and lifts up my spirit because I know if God did it for you he will also do it for me. I saw your channel last year when it just popped on my page. From there I was watched every video especially divorced at 28 years old. I started my YT couple years back but going through a divorce with 2 children at 39 years old. But I wanted to say you inspire me and so happy of everything that God has done for you! God bless you 💕

Marble wallpaper would look beautiful on the tv and fireplace wall. I have seen the marble design in blue and gold or pink and gold or emerald green and gold one of these would look fantastic!

A Different World!!! I think myself and a lot of people went to college because of this show. It was such an inspirational show for African youth in the 90’s. Everything looks great my the way. You are like me. I hate thins to not be in place. I took 3 weeks off from work to get in all done.
Hi Alisha... about four years ago, i had a fireplace similar to this installed and i did the same thing- removed the outlet behind the tv.. I also had my wall tiled... the finish product was very clean ... I'm so proud of you.. Congratulations!!

Beautiful finishes and changes. I definitely changed out the cheap fixtures that previous owners put in and it makes a difference. It's coming along Alisha! I agree with you about the cords. I like the mix metals in the kitchen.

First of all, I LOVE your house, Alisha! It's not my place, and I didn't want to step on toes, but the couch location irks me like the cords irk you lol. Not just because of turning heads to watch TV, it's more about the balance of the room. Did you try putting the couch where the pink chairs are, and then a pink chair on each side (like 1 would have its back to the kitchen, and the other to that wall where the stairs are)? The pink chairs don't have to be beside one another (you probably know this already :)
