even better it creates natural oils and sap that resist rot, greate preservation and fire fuel. Good reasons as to why they are a valuable tree both historically and now.
Mad impressive. Most people couldn't even cut one tree let allone move them n stripe em. Just please ditch the phone next time your life is on the line
Mhmm. With an old bike chain, all ya gotta do, is either wrap each end in your hands, or find something to fasten it to, and use it like a big ol' handsaw. Works like a charm!
Do not EVER jump in front of the tree to grab a phone again- you can replace the phone. If you had tripped in the brush that could have been game over.
I have heard if you cut a cedar big enough to shade your Grave you're on your way to one or maybe if you plant a cedar and by the time it grows large enough to shade your Grave you'll be in it one way or the other just something I heard
I respect the hell out of men who built stuff with tools and their bare hands 💪💪back in the day they didn't have a choice it was no machines or power tools
You have to appreciate the work in hand chopping cedar logs of that size, then de-limbing, and peeling. All that before you even begin to build. Nothing but respect.
My favorite logger joke, ask a logger which way the trees gonna fall, he looks it up, looks it down, checks the slope, checks the surroundings, replies "Down 😐"
Me and my wife are actually headed to Alaska to do a homestead. We're buying land up there and we're going to be building our house by hand from the logs off the property. Can't wait!
Those are some beautiful cedars right there, I bet the smell in the cabin will be nice and seeing as how rot resistant they are, that cabin will stand for a long time. I have a shed on my farm that used some giant cedars as pilings and after almost 200 years of being buried in the soil, are still sound.
You can make yourself some wedges and fell the trees safer. Learning other types of face cuts and judging the lean of the tree before hacking away may help too. Keep up the great work!
the masculine urge to build a log cabin in the forest for no reason
Everyone has it
The feminine urge to build a log cabin for no good reason

A tree starts falling on him and the man grabs his camera to not lose any footage. True RUclipsr right there!
Nope he did that because cameraman never dies
Alles oder nichts !😂
I cant believe he would do that. Beyond stupid.
A true lumbermen grabs gear on the go.
@@Mikehoncho0369 Seriously, the vid wont be worth shit when your brains are splattered all over your back
The red colour inside some of them logs is beautiful
Cedar tree, also smells very good it also keeps mosquitos away when you burn it, and the leafs of it makes good tea
@silviohernandezjr3108 this is suspiciously knowledgeable
Bros a tree in disguise
Most of them that look real pretty like this lose almost all their color when they dry
That's aromatic cedar for ya
Bro went from wearing a WW1 German uniform to school 4 years ago to building a log cabin by hand
The deep lore is dank. I for some reason believe it
Yeah what was that? Lol. I thought he looked Civil war-esque
I can’t believe i remember watching that
Glow up fr😂
At least it wasn’t WW2
The music already got me saying “Well, let me have a ruler and a saw and board and I’ll cut it.”
Read dead 2 house construction music 😮💨

Lorax is not gonna love your actions 😂
The lorax is occupied with all of the big logging companies that are actually hurting something hes not even making a difference in the environment

Plan out the replant. Would be fun to see that part too!
He’s not replanting.

Use bike/old surgical chains to cut wood. It might work. Probably better for smaller logs.
Mhmm. With an old bike chain, all ya gotta do, is either wrap each end in your hands, or find something to fasten it to, and use it like a big ol' handsaw. Works like a charm!

bro is locked in🔥🗣
Love the bolo knife from ww1 I have one that hasn’t been sharpened since the war but is still sharp 100 years later
The genius who started using planks instead of one tree for a section, saved so much in time and resources.
If you keep stepping in front of a falling tree, you will not get to see the finish. Falling trees kill.

Bro chose the toughest wood cut with an axe 😭 damn man
Those stories of how your great grandad built a log cabin for your great grandma in their twenties, this is what his end looked like 😂
Good thing you're using cedar. Smells nice. Burns really hot. Best keep an eye on that fireplace at all times
Beautiful Cedar trees! I once made a fence with it.
I run from the trees when they start to fall too. Respect.

There's a tool called a spud that is specifically designed for getting the bark off of trees
