- The delegate of the Republic of Iraq addresses the General Assembly at the XXIV Berlin MUN 2015.
The delegate decided to represent the people of Iraq, rather than the government, who he believes are too influence by the US policies and support.

😂 I will make sure to add some jokes in my opening speech as well
It will surely attract the chair people
Ah yes, the shoe. The last remains of Brunhilde. Now it seems to be a symbol of inspiration amongst the delegates of IMZMUN.

Widen would never admit this but a good chunk of the speech was suggested by him. I would have even taken it further had I known about the GA's "Uniting for Peace" Resolution at the time.
I deny everthing. I was just the camera man :-)
Am going for this year's conference and am so clueless and nervous and this video really made me relax a little 😂😂sounds fun. I wanna also highlight that you guys a previllaged because you actually have practice in your countries before u go for the summit in my country there is no group or no one who facilitates that
We didn’t make ourselves very popular with the Presidency, though of course happy we made others smile. The conference is excellently organised and the participating Delegates well prepared and serious! Good luck in November!
didn't know we could throw in jokes too, won't hurt right?
Wouldn't recommend it... Got in troubles for it
@@p-jw Could you elaborate for me please? I'm going to have my first MUN very soon and this is exactly how I want my opening speech to sound like, why is it a bad idea?
@@cocosaurus8657 Hi! Well, Justin who held the speech was a very experienced Delegate and hence could pull it off with some elements of unseriousness. He was also prepared with a second version of the speech if the presidency had interrupted him. If I were you, I would keep a lower profile on my first conference, see how others are doing it, and learn from their merits and mistakes, to then find your own style for your future conferences. Does that make sense?
@@p-jw Thanks for the tips, I would have been doomed if it weren't for your swift reply!
is this a troll??
