I am a prep student at high school. Normally preps aren’t allowed to participate in MUN. But our teachers chose me and some of my friends to participate in MUN because our English is good. They informed us yesterday and tomorrow we have MUN. Since we don’t have enough time, we are kinda stressed and anxious but i hope we can get over it. They made a zoom meeting yesterday to inform us more but i can honestly tell that i didn’t understand anything. i asked my sister who is experienced about MUN. Now we know almost everything about it but we are still struggling about motions and opening speech. Also gsl. Now i am trying to wrote my opening speech. Wish me luck!
Didn't understand this video in first time watched it some more times researched about my project and then it hits me the best speech of my life thank you so much man ✨💕
@@suhanidangwal8244 it was so much fun! Its not stressing at all. Everyone is so friendly, you can make many friends there and dont be afraid to give speeches. My friend who was afraid to talk gave 5 speeches :) so dont be worried
@@suhanidangwal8244 hi, writing from my MUN conference rn 😂 no you will be given a topic sometimes even topics and you have to have a speech abt it and your country but later on you guys will write a resolution paper together and when you guys present you will have to give a speech but its an option so you can not talk but I recommend you to because it is so much fun, the chair will ask you after your speech “ would you like the delegates to ask you questions “ you can say either yes or no, so its your choice do not worry
I was on NATO and the American delegate voted to adopt the Eurofighter because they had no knowledge of the military industrial complex and we solved a hostage situation by playing CS Go

@@eddiekrustysock4395 thanks, but also id like to add another question... what should i do if i get a question about my country that i dont know the answer? do they ask about the countries or just the speaker's thoughts?
I'm in a historical committee and I don't really understand how to end my speech because for the CTA, it all has already happened so I'm in a tight spot rn :")
Can someone help me out I am one of the delegates selected for the next MUN program in Bangkok, am glad about but I am asked to pay a quite huge amount of money that is really thrilling for me and + I don't have that amount... So what can I do to be partake on that program? If someone has any suggestion plz help me
@@vanlalrawniralte6634 not good but not bad, tbh. most of the time, it depends on your allo's relation with the agenda at hand; since korea had a neutral stance you could say like anything. but the main thing is asking poi's to people against you and forming a good dr with your bloc when that happens so
I think I'm a bit late to your question but I'll answer it anyway, don't be afraid to put your point, if your country doesn't support something then say it doesn't. The chair wont deduct marks or anything, you just have to have a reason and sound convincing, even if you're literally North Korea in the human rights council. Also, try to only use the UN websites or websites like Al Jazeera, don't use websites like Wikipedia since they are considered invalid.
