The space gives the listener time to process the expression. (Brow crinkling) in David Lawrence xviii’s book on acting for camera he talks about the interplay between dialog and physical reactions and expressions. He says react first, then deliver the line. I’ve found that mindset to work well with audio as well, even though there is no camera and nobody will see the expressions. It influences the timing and the nuance of the intonation of the line in a way that will be familiar to listeners.

Thank you - I really appreciate the concept of physical space for the characters and intimacy for the storyteller/narrator! Great tips as always.

hey there, can you please make a tutorial for screeching, hoarse, harsh, scream voice recordings. to make then soothing or bearable. what are the main frequency areas in EQ for those particular voices. Thank you in advance.

Hey! To talk to your question briefly, it seems a bit of a paradox if I'm honest. If you're recording a scream/screech, I don't know that it's meant to be easy to listen to. If I'm missing the question, please let me know.
Though one solution would simply be to set your gain to capture the scream appropriately, then perhaps use a bit of compression to even the loudness out overall. Check out my videos on compression for more help there: ruclips.net/video/KuFbukV6uek/видео.html
