You're very clearly spoken and your presentation both appeal to a creative as well as mathematical audience, thank you and good job!

Just Be it, that is soooo true. He is so clear and the voice is so calm that it strikes a bell in the mind. And great simulation. However, what action is required by the machinist when they look at all those GD & T flags? I know they are always aiming the nominal dimension but many are quite intimidated. They often use the term 'over kill' when they are unable to interpret the drawing symbols.

This is an excellent "Virtual Condition" application using the MMC-size modifier. It is a nice visual using graphics with outstanding part layout. Thanks for the use of a quality video. (Good Inner & Outer Boundary Graphics.)

Can you clarify why the virtual condition for an internal feature gets smaller as it moves around? because I know you still get a bigger tolerance bonus as the whole shifts from MMC, thank you.

      Hello huyuhjukt fefd,
      Thank you for your question.
The VC (Virtual Condition) is “static” and never changes in size. Remember, VC is always the worst-case condition, regardless of the hole/boss size. In the example with the Ø.250 +/- .020 hole, VC = MMC (Ø.250 - .020 = .230) - Geotol (.010) = Ø.220. Because the MMC modifier is present in the FCF (Feature Control Frame) we do gain bonus tolerance as we depart from MMC, but this does not affect the VC.
      Hope this helps!
