Two reasons to sue Ben Affleck: 1. For getting back together with J-Lo. @ Jamel_AKA_Jamal A few times each album, Al does what he refers to as a "style parody" where, instead of parodying a specific song by an artist, he does his best to make an original song that copies all of the major elements of their style - for instance, his style parody of the band Cake : "Close (But No Cigar)" from the same album as this one, goes out of its way to make a heavy use of a horns as well as a backup section that repeatedly echoes the lead singer by shouting loudly. So this is less about being a specific Rage song, and more an attempt to make a song that sounds LIKE Rage.
Big clapping for his band, I love the music but I have never listen to rage of the machine maybe I should, I may like it. Thanks and I will keep asking, you will love one more minute and you don't love me anymore. Anyway I love your reactions to Al's songs.

As others have already said, this is a style parody not a particular song. So Al is the sole songwriter and does not ask for permission for these. As far as I know (and I've googled a lot) he has never been sued for any of his style parodies or for any of his other work. Once he started making albums he was very careful to avoid copyright issues. One of the reasons it took Yoda a long time to be released was because of George Lucas, who eventually gave permission. He tried to do a Green Eggs and Ham crossed with the U2 song Numb but couldn't get the ok from the Dr. Suess estate. There is a hilarious video of a live performance somewhere. If anyone watches it, be sure to watch the U2 video first.

What are they gonna do? Hide Morello in the changing room?
“Wu-Tang is for the children.”- ODB
"First world problems" is another fantastic Weird Al song.
“Weird Al” Yankovic - Jerry Springer!
If you haven't seen 'CNR' yet, it's a must. Total 'style parody' of the White Stripes and the video is bloody amazing.
You should check out weird al behind the scenes. Get a look at the maestro at work.
Behind the scenes from Straight Out of Lynwood, that's the best one.
I wonder if he's ever played this live in New Jersey.
It doesn't matter what genre a band plays. Al could parody a symphony and do it justice
@
Jamel_AKA_Jamal A few times each album, Al does what he refers to as a "style parody" where, instead of parodying a specific song by an artist, he does his best to make an original song that copies all of the major elements of their style - for instance, his style parody of the band Cake : "Close (But No Cigar)" from the same album as this one, goes out of its way to make a heavy use of a horns as well as a backup section that repeatedly echoes the lead singer by shouting loudly. So this is less about being a specific Rage song, and more an attempt to make a song that sounds LIKE Rage.
Half of all his albums are originals, most of them style parodies.
He made the song ambigous enough so RAge couldn't sue =)
I got to hang out with Zack for a few minutes once outside an art studio he had/has(?) just above Downtown LA (northern Chinatown). He was very cool.
Big clapping for his band, I love the music but I have never listen to rage of the machine maybe I should, I may like it. Thanks and I will keep asking, you will love one more minute and you don't love me anymore. Anyway I love your reactions to Al's songs.
You should know, Weird Al directs all his music videos now. He got so good at them that he sometimes does videos for other artists. He did Ben Folds' "Rockin' the Suburbs", which is a great video and song. Check it out!
You have to do The night Santa went crazy. Funny as hell!!! Keep it up!
You should check out alburquerque. The song is long though, over 11 minutes long, probally as long as Trapped In The Drive-Thru
But what we're really trying to say is I... HATE... SOURKRAUT!
@@dracoargentum9783 lol
@@bobs.381 Hey, man. You've got weasels on your face.
@@dracoargentum9783 *Screaming*
Still waiting for Albuquerque! Pleaaasee
Wow! This is amazing! Weird Al has gone in another direction of music. I am hoping for your reaction to, “Girls Just Want To Have Lunch.” That would be great! Thank you for the great reaction, Jamel.
Bohemian polka
If I was an attorney, this will be my theme song !🤘🏻
I'm sure Zack loved the idea. Zack is a very down to Earth guy with a solid mind :D Talking about politics in interviews and understanding people.
I love how the guitar has "Arm the Lawyers" on it rather than the "Arm the Homeless" from Tom Morello's guitar.
Have you played Weird Al: Stop Forwarding That Crap to Me? A really good one.
He needs to hear some Meatloaf first, since that's a style parody of Jim Steinman. I'll Do Anything For Love, Bat Out of Hell.
Another good one is Weird Al - Don't Download this Song. Of course Al went ahead and released it for free mp3 download at the time.
You've done a lot of the best, but some others you could check out: "First World Problems", "Jurassic Park", "Close But No Cigar", "Virus Alert"
Another great Al song is "This Is The Life"
A subtle rearrangement of the notes enables it to not break copyright laws. He just plays it in the same style as Rage. It’s brilliant!
Another weird al yankovic music video you should check out is Craigslist
You need to do a deep dive of all his polkas. Like Polkas on 45, Angry White boy Polka, one that's nothing but Rolling Stones songs, etc. There's one on every album and they are amazing!
Hard to believe he's been at it for 44 years now. And there is still no one that compares to him in music parodies. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%22Weird_Al%22_Yankovic
JURASSIC PARK ...I'll continue to scream it from the rooftop until my voice is heard lol
If you're gonna keep doing Weird Al, I recommend "Perform this way". But the way you're going you'll get to it eventually it seems. Been liking these vids during the trying times here, a nice break and change of pace. Good to laugh for a bit.
"I sued delta airlines cuz they sold me a ticket to New Jersey I went there and it SUCKED!!"🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
When he had burger queen at the last there used to be a chain called that. When I was little and the chain closed there was one store that put 'closed due to a big mac attack' on their sign.
Wow 16 seconds... Never got
here this fast...
Lol
After seeing the Kickapoo reaction I have to strongly recommend you do some Meatloaf and Dio. Two of the greatest rock vocalists that have ever lived.
Dio! Start with Holy Diver or a Rainbow song like Kill the King or Stargazer.
yall better stop playin with me ... no sir, we have only begun (hahahahah)
He slipped on a banana peel 1st thing 🍌🍌...cracked me up what happened right after...but whole vid is hilarious. 😄😄
Als guitarist Jim West doesn't get enough credit
Please react to Weird Al's "Do I Creep You Out?"
should you one of his original
one more moment
dare to be stupid
it's Christmas at Ground Zero
You be in tears laughing so much if you watch these
His tender "You Don't Love Me Anymore" makes me cry... with laughter.
Party at the leper colony. "There's a guy in the hot tub I don't know who....."
"This is the Life"
“Those were the good old days” is my fave original song by wierd al.
Al always puts in the work. Do Confessions part 3. Or Trapped in the drive thru
Glad you've been enjoying Weird Al. Please check out Albuquerque The Movie, This Is The Life, Spy Hard, and Buy Me A Condo. The final one of the list is a hidden gem of his and it's reggae which is great to hear him do.
