I love the babies excitement! Your work is worth to joy.
having a baby all day long by your side while you are trying to work, is the best! am I right? I am sure we all feel the same ;)
I cannot believe you scored the edges of the slab 'with a baby on your hip' ! Your mugs look beautiful too.
You get good at multitasking when you have a baby

So beautiful!!!
So pretty! ☺️
Beautiful! I just completed the first few steps in your video and am at the hurry up and wait stage while the block remains wrapped up for a week before starting to make the mug. Question: how do you prevent the layers from separating when the scratch and attach method isn’t used to put everything together?
Hi Shauna
I’m no expert but you probably don’t need to wait a whole week before you can use your block. I’m sure a few days and it will be fine. The layers don’t seem to separate when I do it. As long as when you make the block of clay you give it some firm bangs to compress it all together and then when you roll out your slice of clay the layers compress together more. I’ve never had a problem with layers separating.
