I will never do what you are doing but watching it is absolutely mesmerizing. It’s fun to watch and try and figure out what the design is going to look like at the end and why. I find it very meditative to watch as you’re very carefully pleating the fabric. While I admire it, I know I could never do it because I am not as patient as you are. You do a fantastic job and your colors are just so vibrant.

You can make your own soda ash too by putting some baking soda in the oven. I forget at what temp because I Google it every time. 😂
