Ahh man I remember I could not get through the Zoo part of the game because I was stuck trying to figure out where to go, thanks for the video. Sometimes in some games some things you need to do are super hard to figure out. I have found items in FF 13-2 I needed to progress eventually, I beat Machinarium without a walkthrough, I beat Celeste and some other games without walkthroughs and I would rather not use them for the most part... but I do have to say that some parts of this game I would have had to do things I would never even think of ahahaha. Yeah, todays gamers just play competitively for millions of dollars and, in terms of single player, play games that are harder and more complex than the SNES classics ever were. GTFO.
Awesome game, but cartridge limitations left too many glaring potholes and questions. Undecided on whether or not they should remake it for completion. Maybe if the original team were working on it, assuming they're still with us. What do you all think? Remake👍 or not 👎
I never played or really heard of this game. I had been exposed to Illusion of Gaia in the late 90's so I have a love for that game. However I bet if I played or watched my brothers play this game, the same feelings would be true for this game. As it is the younger brother of IoG and the same dev and publisher, I already sense a certain affinity for it. if the music is just as good, I will have to get this one and even soul blazer to complete the trilogy!
I was 10 (maybe a bit younger) when I first played this and the part with the goats always made me sad. Even though my SNES stopped working a few years ago I still kept this game. I just can't part with it.
A) It's Enix's responsibility. B) Apparently it didn't sell anywhere near enough to warrant shit. So...there. As polished as it is, this game didn't garner enough attention.
A) THIS game. I said THESE games. (ergo games of the 1990's- early 2000's B) didn't sell good but they'll put a lot of their shit games on the e-shop. once in a green moon a decent/epic one. all in all they remake garbage and leave the masterpieces to be lost to time.really the only thing MIGHT be that they have none of the rights, but are they even trying? are they putting pressure on these studios to put out quality stuff instead of all this Mario/sonic sports bullshit?
A) Means jack shit, a lot of the same logic applies(let alone generations and markets change, so a lot of what sold back then has no reason to sell even a quarter as well right now). B) Those "garbage remakse" are of games that sold more than often ten times what Terranigma did. Sonic and Mario? They sell more. Zelda? It sells more? Metroid? It STILL sells more. Sales MATTER. You probably aren't factoring in a LOT of shit, or how wide the gap in sales actually is. And like it or not, you WILL have to fucking deal with the fact many games you may not like SELL MORE than a game you do. And at a corporative level, that matters more than your personal gaming tastes. C) This is a game published by Enix. Hence, Square Enix is the responsible of trying to get it on the Virtual Console, NOT Nintendo. They just aren't interested in a game that didn't give them enough prefect. Do you know jack shit about video game development, publishing or the history of the medium? Because you are sounded really self entitled and stupid right now.
alright dip-shit. this is my last reply. fun fact, sonic-Mario sports games never have-never will sell good. A lot of those shity remakes only sold a shadow of the original (Metroid, Zelda, Mario, sonic, street fighter), and yet, instead of reintroducing the great classics, ( and yes, it IS as easy as Nintendo asking Enix/square soft for a deal), they are doing what Bethesda has been doing. "we are excided to announce that skyrim will be released for the ps8". just taking the same shit and giving it a graphics upgrade. Nintendo CAN put pressure on SquareEnix. but they'd rather repackage/resell the same shit for years straight. So NO. there is NO good reason these games haven't been remade.
Mario and Sonic at the Olympic games: 7.99 million copies Zelda, Ocarina of Time 3D: 4.85 million copies Majora's Mask 3D: 2.43 million copies Terranigma: 0.09 million copies. Wanna make a case? Show some fucking numbers. They speak for themselves. Terranigma DIDN'T sell well. Those others actually do, like it or not. It's a difference of over 200%(I'm not even doing math here, the gap in sales is THAT FUCKING HUGE, specially since the sales of Terranigma are just P A T H E T I C. It could be your best game ever, or even the best game of the entire console but it means jack shit if it doesn't sell)

Will this work on American Super NES consoles?
Just use an emulator like snes9x
I use planetemu.net for games, and snes9x for an emulator. get the newest version!
Sure if you own a pal snes. For ntsc snes this will only work if you modded your snes to play pal games or got a ntsc repo cart of this game. There's emulating as well but you asked if this would play on a snes so here you go. Old comment but figured someone else may see this comment and be looking for answer.
Um... did you resurrect Mu and Polynese? (If you did, I probably didn't pay attention.)
please 3ds shop

What the hell happened with Enyx?
Bought by Squaresoft I think... they were renamed as Squareenix
why didnt u resurrect Mu?
Victorrr6R I forget... sad by this but is not really necessary and Mu Continent doesn't exists in real life like all other continents so I could reveal that little detail, but I always try to do 100% of longplays that I record and this was my first longplay of RPG, today I'm already more experienced in that office but once it was harder for me than today. ;)
unlike modern rpgs this game is no choice
