This cupcake frosting looks like ice cream cone lol I I taught decorating of cakes 20 years ago but I was wondering why you would use the styrofoam cupcake when there is other options that are much cheaper BUT when you said you selll them then I understood why and it makes much more sense,
I like the cherry ideas & I like a lot of what your showing
But 2 questions as I never made fake ones I always used icing even on dummy cakes cause I had to show students how to make it etc….
I love the straw on top with the stripes I know I can find those, I wondered if getting the hot wire took was useful seems like it is
    1) do you have to add anything to the eye hook to keep it from coming out? What did you what kind of material was the cherry was it polymer or was it foam and did you put any spackle in that to keep it from coming out and the cherry adheres to the spackling and the hook is able to hang from the cherry and the cupcake without it being too heavy, spackling probably weighs more than the cupcake, you don’t have any issue with the cherry popping off or the hook coming out. I figure that cherry would fall off, but I really like that stick to fill a vase of them
    2) I live in Canada, so things do cost more here, but when I was looking to purchase cupcake shaped foam, it was like 12 for $10 or 10 for $8 & that’s the cheapest I could find & that’s from china online. And if I would’ve purchased them in the states when I go for Thanksgiving, I was born there because of the exchange of going from Canadian to American even though the exchange might be $.73 on the dollar I would only get $.67 American for every dollar Also means for me to get $100. American will cost me $150 Canadian. Cause banks gotta make their money too. I do have a card that has better exchange and it’s a little cheaper for shopping over there. It might only cost me $140 instead of 150 for 100 American. Buy something at the store and it cost $6 for 10 let’s say then it really costs me $9 plus tax & here I only pay 5% vs everyone’s 13% but down at my sisters it’s like 11% with state & county tax added up. And so it would have to be significant for it to actually make a difference and sometimes it does but sometimes it’s actually more money over there versus over here with our money. I know a lot of unnecessary things in this comment that were completely irrelevant and I apologize, but I need to know about the cherry and does it pop off ever, where you get your cupcake Styrofoam and how much does it cost you even if I got to buy 100 at a time I would

The lightweight spackle is not heavy at all. You would not believe how light it is. I just put the hook into the cherry. You can add a little super glue in there or a dot of spackle if you want to. The cherries are just styrofoam balls I painted. Never had an issue.

Hi. It’s lightweight so make sure that’s what you are using. Then add mod podge and paint.
