That question about the crocodile caught me by surprise Global Paradise but my answer to it was a genuine one. Would have loved it if we’d found a big tiger pug mark, that would have upped the stakes a bit

OUTSTANDING, Karl. Loved it. Converse sneakers as hiking shoes on the first jungle hike, what could possibly go wrong? Nick you're a good sport for going the distance. With the right gear, you would be fine. Karl, I'm sure you know this, but if the leeches are small, they'll normally drop off in 20-30 minutes when full. Yes, nor sure if I will stick with it or not tbh…spur of the moment thing. I usually hike in the jungle in traininers, whatever you wear will get wet. We couldn’t get any leech socks as the NP shop was shut but I think going raw help make the content more interesting 😉😆

Karl, next time take some earplugs to silence those expletives, get Nick some tall rubber boots tooo. looked like quite an adventure, i hiked in the Glacier National park in 1980in Montana USA and there was an 80 old woman hiking with her son and grandson at over 8000 feet, she was one TOUGH gal hiking the Rocky mountains. What's next you got for Nick to try???
Theres a small trail right behind the hut just before the stairs. Its less than 1km long and leads to a higher view point of Haew Narok falls. The view is simply stunning.

Thanks Brian. We both have different styles. Nick is very verbally descriptive whereas I tend to use subtitles. I really enjoy seeing the same event from different perspectives. Same as when I watch Baldy Brian’s videos of our trips
I’d definitely told him about the leeches before the hike EMS but I think the reality of them once we started the hike was a bit too much for him. I think he thought of it as a bit of a challenge

I've yet to do trail 5, looks fun. Nick did very well, the jungle isn't the most pleasant terrain in the rainy season.

I did it with the IPhone on a gimbal Paul. The Google Earth stuff I do on a PC but had that file saved as I had done a video on Trail 5 before
