  • Hey friends, I'm currently deciding whether or not I should go back to Morocco as a Peace Corps volunteer. I was scheduled to live and work in Morocco for 2 years but sadly because of Covid-19, the US government decided to evacuate us. In this video, 2 years later, I share my experience with the evacuation process and my feelings on leaving.

I've been watching some of your previously at random because I will be going to the Philippines via Peace Corps. I have yet to see your most recent videos but I hope you are at a better place in your life now. Your videos helped me not feel alone in one of my biggest decisions in my life.

I still mourn my unfinished service 3 years later, but I am very excited for your Peace Corps journey! It will be filled with ups and downs but ultimately the experiences that you will have will stick with you forever! Good luck!

Hi there! I stumbled upon your channel from seeing you served in Morocco, I recently got invited to serve in Morocco… I definitely feel your sentiments about the situation. I’ve waited two years for this to work out and it’s still a source of a lot of pain due to Covid. Whatever life has planned for you, I hope it all works out ❤️ all the best

I am so incredibly sorry your time with Peace Corps was cut short. I have been watching your videos about Peace Corps Morocco for over a year now as my application has been under consideration. I recently have been invited to serve in Morocco this September and your videos have given me so much comfort and excitement as I navigate the emotions I am having about leaving my loved ones behind. I want to end by saying how happy I am for you that you will be seeing your host families so soon :)
