I am one of those. But only when properly documented and flow charted. You would be amazed at how easy life in the military is if you know the regs and have them relevant regs and Training Manuals with highlight revelante sections. That way when idiots in various departments fuck up you can effectively tell them to go fuck themselves and do their job or else.
I was a terror My S-1 NCOIC forbade me from interacting with anyone below SSG or CPT in the office cause the regular joes always ended up getting a lecture and a class on how to fucking do their damn jobs at a vocal level that shook the walls..... I was not surprised when I was transferred to Squadron and assigned to that very office because the CSM wanted someone he didn't have to worry about handling items with Federal oversight and inspections even overseas.

I’ve seen guys take a pinch of freeze dried coffee and place it between their cheek and gum to get their coffee fix.
Tried it a few times and decided to stick with tea.
Downside was lack of time or ability to boil water……maybe also the caffeine rush may have not only woke you up but gave you a headache.

I remember that one! Some humans had accidentally settled on a planet claimed by a very beaurocratic race who were just going to kill all the settlers before they had time to evacuate, because their agreement woth the federation said they only had to give 7 days notice. So Picard stalled them by threatening to using a clause that allows him to call for arbitration with any race he wants. And he wanted a race that was currently in hibernation, and would be for months. So they let him have a few days to evacuate the settlers
