In 1989, I raced a 1989 Suzuki RM250, and owned the track at every race. It was the first model with inverted front forks and that allowed me to blow through turns like I could never do on my 1988 RM250 (that I sold).
I have a friend who has an '89 RM 250, and to this day, he absolutely refuses to give it up. While the rest of us are riding modern bikes, he's still racing his Suzuki, and I don't blame him one bit. That bike was awesome back in '89, and it's still awesome today.
@@rabbidpotatoegaming4514 It has always been, and will always be...80% rider, 20% motorcycle. Put a good rider on good machine like this RM250 and you have a winner every time.

Doing what Suzukis are known for- turning tight & leaping..

Being nice and easy on the ole girl and still kept a great pace. Beautiful bike man
Had an 88' that I raced flat track with. Loved that 2 stroke and dominated the competition.
16 minutes of awesomness
I was with you the whole way lol!
I put a FMF pipe on a 89 ' RM250 Full gate got my 1st Holeshot around the first turn was a long flat double cleared it remember it like yesterday .
When you put all your fancy gear on as a novice withe your new bike but get your ass kicked by a 33 year old bike pretty sad.
Exactly "novice" you can't compare the two. It has to do with the Rider
