Hi. it was not an urn. These are "poor" farmers (perhaps on leased land) and they live in that "shack" (Kubo_ made of native materials) and the urn-looking thing was a common clay pot used for cooking on a wood burning makeshift "stove"...
i forgot, check out their performance at the herbalife one nation, one world! the subject is lighter and quite entertaining! IT WILL NOT MAKE YOU CRY! IT WILL SIMPLY MAKE YOU SMILE IN THE CREATIVITY OF EL GAMMA PENUMBRA!
It happens to me.. 😔Ive been through hell..my life was so mess then, upside down..evil tried to test me in any way that everyone thought I have to give up..but I proved them wrong..I was so empty hand, nothing left..but I have the best armor that anyone could ever had..I have faith in God!everyone can left me..but God never abandon those people who believe in Him..I cried so hard coz I am a human but after a day..I put back every broken pieces of me..I fought my fear..and I do succeed! Now i am doing well..all thanks to Him..
Others despises people having faith but Faith keeps us going. Faith keeps us grounded and hopeful. That's how you heal mental sickness. Suicides rate in other countries are so common which is very sad. Most of them lack faith or has no foundation of such because well it's the parents role and obligation. I am so proud with my country's culture and faith. Family is and will always be the basic unit of society and harmonious relationship must be upheld to keep the family strong. I'm afraid for the next generations but I hope they see the reality and moral values of this performance...
It portrays the Filipino values: children being obedient and courteous (shown thru the gesture of the child touching his forehead with his parents hand); being family oriented and God-fearing.
The son went to school away from home (countryside). And the sequence you thought which was a "service" was like a neighbor bringing the news about the accident so they hurried to the hospital.
ok, I subscribed. Your reaction is not fake like others. You never skip the video but rewind just to make sure that you both can understand the message. Kudos to both of you.
you guys are really cool! unlike other reactors, you display a deep sense of intellectualism! i like that since i'm an intellectual too! NOT A FROZEN INTELLECTUAL THOUGH! i like your act of going deeper into the material presented to you, dissecting it, probing, analyzing until you finally get the whole picture! NOT TOO MANY TODAY ARE THAT DEEP! thanks!
8:14 - 17 ...it's not a bag/ash container...we use that thing here in the Philippines (especially in the country side) as a cooking tool, to be exact it's a cooking pot.
To me it looked like they lived a simple life and might have lived in a rural community, which explains why they have a carabao and why their kitchen was outside the house. the one you thought as an urn was actually a rice cooker (kaldero as what we call it here). it was probably a neighbor or a friend who came up to them and gave them the sad news.
it wasnt an urn. its a cooking pot and the house was probably a nipa hut or a wooden bungalow- traditional house setup in country side of the Philippines.
In Philippines, the most important thing in this world is Family Close Ties, whatever happen to us, whether we are suffering tragedy, calamity, long distance communication and etc., but in the end we always pray to God that we surpass all trials in our life. And whether our parents is too old, we never sending them in Home for the Ages, we Filipinos are taking care of our parents, we giving back to them the responsibility when we are baby, and it's time to repay for all sacrifices that our parents does for a long time until we stand in our own feet. Family and especially our God and parents is the most important thing in this world.
despite the trials, we Filipinos never give up our FAITH to GOD. Nothing is impossible really to GOD. A family that prays together, stays together and forever....
Before they were in Asia's Got Talent, they were a grand finalist in Pilipinas Got Talent (Philippines got talent) u should watch they're grand finals performance or u could react to NU Pep Squad UAAP 2016. It was crazy awesome!
This showcases the typical filipino family. How poor families even through poverty, they raise their child to be helpful towards others, his parents and how from youth, their faith in God has been strengthened...something we carry even when we are away from home...how even through trouble, faith prevails and when you believe "God makes the impossible possible "
The "service" that you thought about was not a service. They lived in a poor house , probably a hut, and they were outside of it (probably waiting for the kid to go home) when a friend or neighbor came to give them the bad news, about what happened to their kid. That's why the mom broke down.
What you saw that looked like an urn was a pot. Then a girl came in to tell the parents that their child got into an accident. But your reaction is on point and I love you guys. ❤️
The doctor scene i think was the doctor revealing the child was in a critical condition or went into a coma. The hand scene i think was the God's hand sending the lady with a cane/guardian angel. I really love your reaction videos.Hoping to react with you guys but very minimal chance to happen.
This video does not only present the skill, creativity and craftmanship of the group. It also depicts the Filipino values and culture which El Penumbra would like the world to know. The Filipinos' " mano" to the elders, prayer as family, taking care of parents as they work for the family and above all the faith for the Supreme Being. That great faith that in every trials we are in, God is always there watching and helping us along the way. I grew up with these values and I am hoping ardently that these values will be preserved through generations.
OH WOW... Such Powerful, Deep. and Moving piece. So true. It really puts it into perspective what is life is about. Thanks for reaction my fav knuckleheads.
Watching this in 2019 haha. But i want to say, the child was not dead. If you listen closely, during the time the parents were praying, there's a sound of a "heartbeat" like the ones from a machine. Hihi

Human Love is always put to the test to polish and make it more like a Divine Love. Here the family's love, passion and faith is tested.
Actually its not a urn its a traditional cooking in a province using fire wood

The one that is like an urn is actually a pot that is used to cook dishes. It is usually used in provinces in the Philippines.
The son went to school away from home (countryside). And the sequence you thought which was a "service" was like a neighbor bringing the news about the accident so they hurried to the hospital.
