I drove his bus and the laughter never stopped. He was always trying to make us laugh at something and life on the road with him was always entertaining. He gave me a pair of snakeskin boots one Christmas which I will always cherish. Thanks for the giggles Mel & RIP
Yep, He's one of our favorites .🥰. We fell in love with his hit I ain't never, my husband and I did get to see him in concert, he was awesome, we also love his daughter Pam. Mr Tillis you could tell he was a Gentlemen. Had that twinkle in his eyes, that smile, his sense of humor, if you met him once, you would cherish that. It was sad to hear he had passed. He's up there with the rest of the Greatest.we still follow Pam, she's a chip off the old block. RIP MEL.we are sure that you have a band and singing in Heaven. We won't forget you.🤗🦋🌠🌻🌹💯❤️🙌👍🙂👋. Love, Respect and positivity always. Thanks we never been to pay respect to Mel, thank you Dude for showing where he's laid to rest. Much appreciation to you. We never saw nobody else do it, or post and share. My husband did back up singing and played guitar for many artist. No not Mel, mostly those in the 90s. But we met some great people. Take care, look forward to your next video.👍💯❤️👊👊👊. Vee and Andrew.🙂👋🖖.
Loved Mel Tillis. A Florida boy. I live near Gainesville FL where the University of Florida is. Go Gators! I live in the town next to Ocala. Mel was an awesome singer. Loved his music! Also a great sense of humor! May he rest in peace.
My dad played the Opry in the 60's and 70's. He played many times with Mel. They became friends and shared lots of good times together. My dad used to tell me about going out to eat with Mel. Lots of great stories.
From childhood age on up I would always get so excited when I learn Mell would be on a particular show or be in a particular movie. He seemed like the kindest and gentle man in and approachable for being a celebrity. Thank you so much for doing this for us and Mell ❤️🔥
Another great video, I always look forward to your videos. Thanks for Posting. Pat Summitt is buried about 5-miles away and Frank Sutton who played Sgt. Carter on the TV Show Gomer Pyle is buried in Greenwood cemetery in Downtown Clarksville. I did videos on both when I was in the area visiting Mel's Grave. Thanks again for another awesome video.
@@hellograves it’s summer time. My views are half of what they were in may and over half off what they were in April. Survive through the summer and it will pick back up
He was a great person. Got to meet with him a few times and everytime was awesome. He would talk to you as if he known ya for yrs. Very kind funny and humble guy
I remember Mel Tillis from the movies “Smoky and the Bandit 2” as the stuttering amusement park owner and in the “Cannonball Run” where he was with Terry Bradshaw and he great in that movie. Mel also has a daughter, Pam Tills who had a country music career and popularity in the 90’s, but later in the early 2000’s she cooled down after that and didn’t perform much after that.
Doris Tillis, was Mel's 1st wife, & mother to Pam, Mel Jr; and 1 or 2 more of his children. For many years before his death, Mel was married to a lady named Judy, and I believe they had at least 1 daughter together. R.H. Abilene, TX.
Mel Tillis was funny and soo hilarious especially in the 1981 movie cannon ball run. With the late burt Reynolds. Which was funny and hilarious as well plus I have the DVD movie in my collection of DVD movies. Pam Johnson
You didn’t talk about his two daughters Pam Tillis and the other one but that’s OK I hope you canDo one on Mickey Gilley if you can find out where they buried him off he’s even been buried I know he passed away
