    I usually don't leave comments, but I had to do so for this video. I am currently writing my first self-help book. I've watched a ton of videos about writing for this genre and this video is by far the best. I took detailed notes on everything you said. This could be a book in itself. Your time and work is much appreciated. Thank you.

    Kristen at 4:30 you mention about focus area of the book and categories/subcategories
    Can you do a video going more in depth about choosing the right category and the options available to choose from? I’m wanting to do a self help in the Christian living but wondering what other / more options are available.

    Loved the take on self-help & emphasis there isn't a catch-all point to this genre 💕 I'm probably a year or so away from pitching to an editor (non-fiction for work) so will be filing this one away for later 🤓

    I love this, Kristen. Thank you so much for doing these types of videos. I've been following you through these last months, and seeing you having faith in yourself and keep pushing out the content YOU want to create and YOU know that will help for the RIGHT people is amazing. There will always be people who are not on the same vibe as you - and thats okay - and you perfectly show that in your videos and podcasts. Its refreshing to see someone standing so strong in their own beliefs and worth. I admire you so much for also welcoming your "haters" and still loving them, showing respect to them after how they've been treating you online..
    I hope you continue on with the variety of content you now have on your channel - both writing advice, self help, day in the life vlogs and let us continue to follow your lifejourney, with all involved. We are, after all, all of us only humans and having different perspectives and beliefs are part of that human experience.
    You inspire a lot of people, Kristen, in many different ways - and know that you've helped me so much with ALL of your content this past year.
    Keep going, I'm rooting for you and praying for your continued success and health.
    Love from Norway

      @@jepluv101 In deed! I took a chance and purchased it, and I'm so glad I did. My Rough Draft is complete. In fact, I printed off the first copies today! All thanks to the ease of using Scrivener.

    • @jepluv101
      @jepluv101 5 лет назад

      @@cjgenxfitness7334 I'm more impressed you wrote a rough draft in 4 days! Unless you already had a fair amount written...but yes scrivener is great! and you can keep a series bibles, any notes, and research all right there!

    • @cjgenxfitness7334
      @cjgenxfitness7334 5 лет назад

      @@jepluv101 lol...No-no I didn't write my rough draft in 4 days. It took about 30 days. However, I was writing it in word and switched to Scrivener. Also, While even thirty days may seem like a short time I am currently at 33k words and I am sure that during my edit process I will add to the book. In fact, I have already been placing extras in the cork-board of Scrivener to add these in as part of the 2nd edit. Scrivener totally changed my writing habits and has opened a whole new world. So don't be impressed with anything I do I simply ask that you all be forgiving instead....lol.

    Well, anybody can become a "creative entrepreneur" if, like yourself, they are charging two and a half grand for a course, plus charging people to be arc readers. Neil Gaiman's Master Class is only £90, I'll stick with Neil, thanks. Just one quick question - you replied to Lisa who was gushing about you at the bottom of the comments, yet chose to ignore the poor woman who said she felt unworthy - any particular reason why??
