I really do need to pull my finger out and get my '76 Super IMP back on the road! It has not seen the light of day for over 11 years and not turned a wheel in anger in over 40 years! It is a solid car with only 32K on the clock! The only thing stopping me is my health, or lack of it!
After seen how poorly engineered the Imp motor is why and that is why they are one of the worst cars ever made and that is an excellent reason to engine swap them at least it wouldn improve them by from what l saw from that lmp motor you had apart because it was burning oil because of absolute very poor engineering how bad can they get a motorcycle engine swap would improve a Hillman lmp by at least 200% how often do you have to rebuild a lmp engine every year or 2 years well my 1997 Toyota Hiluxes engine has not yes not yet been rebuilt and it probably never have to be rebuilt because of been over engineered to start with and it is the 22R engine
