When I got off bc I was SOOOO happy , instantly my mood changed… now when I get my period the pms is real I cry I want to eat & mood swings ! I was on the pill for 4-5 years and I was so glad I got off it.
About 2 weeks ago I got off of bc as well (I was on the pill for 6 years) & I have had a really positive transition. I feel like overall I’m in a better mood & I feel like I have less bloating/ tummy issues. I feel like my body is really appreciating just doing it’s own thing & I’m all for it 🙌🏼
I feel like once my body adjusts I’ll have no regrets! But right now im like what is happening 🫠
After 8 years, I got off BC July 2020. It took a year and half for my menstrual cycle to regulate. I am happy to report that I have now gotten my period 2 months in a row. Thank you Lord!

I had the same issue with my water jug, until I found a hack to keep it from spilling. Use one of those car purse hangers that goes on headrest to hang your jug! Easy reach and keeps from tipping over and spilling 😁

Great video. I was on BC for 6yrs and let's just say I almost got a divorce due to my hormones having me crazy. When I was on BC it was like I had no emotions never cried. Even if I wanted to it was like I couldn't. I stopped BC July and I've been doing so good. I'm never doing that again.

I have been living vicariously through you and your videos. So happy to see you flourishing. I feel you on the birth control and mood swings. I went off birth control in November when I broke up with my boyfriend. I got my last period January. The past 3 months I have not gotten my period but the moods swings, sadness and depression is real during the days when I should have gotten my period. Someone said to not worry about not getting my period and the severe mood swings because my body is adjusting and I have also been going through a lot of stress the past few months (broke up with my boyfriend, lost my job, found out I have glaucoma) so my hormones are bound to be crazy. Hope your mood swings subsides 💜

My niece told me she felt crazy and called me crying about how she feels so depressed and angry. I had to remind her the new birth control was having an affect on her mood. Once she was aware of it she was able to address it and counter it. Sometimes we just have to KNOW the cause. She didnt complain about it after that…just moved accordingly. I was happy she came to me instead of sitting in sadness that could have spiraled out of hand. It’s great you addressed it on your channel because a lot of young women don’t have someone to confide in.
I however was in the pill for yrs. The pharmacies will change your brand without telling you and when they did I have debilitating migraines. After going through that for yrs I started to experience worse migraines, multiple UTIs, and a ruptured cyst (felt like I was dying) and decided to stop bc THEN I had a miscarriage. I was DONE. My body was a wreck and I took time to let my body heal and reset.

Yes it is normal for the change in how you feel after ending use of birth control. I was on birth control for over a decade lol and I stopped to give my body a break. And so much changes in the first month or so because of your body is now going without the hormones.
I was on BC as well and it made me very hormonal and I didn’t see a change in my cycles. But I love the yellow dress from forever 21, it reminds me of free people 😍
I removed my birth control 3 months ago. I would feel so lonely even tho people were around me. I took everything personal and would feel so down and burst into tears for no reason. I thought I was losing it. It’s getting better now. But boy its crazy. One minute I was sad the next I was happy!
Yes! That’s me but kinda the opposite. I feel like I can’t be solo for too long because it makes me anxious. It’s so annoying. And then out of nowhere I’ll be totally fine. I hate it here 🥴 but I’m glad I’m not alone!

Forget the duvet. Get a quilt!!! I have a nice thin quilt. I have a cotton quilt under for when it’s colder. Then a flat sheet. I love the layers!!!

I feel you girl on the post BC feels! I was on birth control for over 10 years and then when I got off I was a mess! I went to the doctor and ended up being diagnosed with PCOS but just know you are not alone! ❤️
I feel you on getting off of the pill. The same thing happened to me and my doctor called them “PMS Lows” and actually this is the “norm” that we would experience without birth control at all, but because we have BC relating all of that we don’t experience that, but the surge of hormones flooding our system can definitely make you feel “crazy”, I went through the same thing, like totally know what you mean, it’s wild lol! My doctor ended prescribing me progesterone pills to help me beat the PMS lows, those pills are not birth control but they help with those feelings you described. I had been on the Depo shot and I wanted to get off but once it started to wear off those symptoms emerged and I feel like I couldn’t be very productive because those mood swings were too much leading up to the cycle, during and a few days afterward. I couldn’t afford to be so emotional for such an extended period of time, so she prescribed the progesterone which is just a hormone pill but it’s not birth control, but it is a hormone that’s found in birth control. Anyway, you’re not alone and I hope this helps. Ohhhh, also, I started to notice that these feelings became more pronounce after I turned 25, I was at work and my documents wouldn’t print and I almost started crying while I was standing at the printer and then I caught myself and I was like “omg, I’m losing my mind, what is wrong with me?!” 😅 2 days later I started my cycle and ever since then I noticed that my emotional symptoms were always unbelievably intense and I couldn’t control myself, so there’s that as well, like I said it was wild! 🤣😅
@@Wendeee5 I think it could have to do with getting older, that’s the only time I noticed them symptoms getting worse, but I’m 32 so idk what it may be like beyond now, but I think it probably does contribute to it because I think it’s normal for your body to start feeling ready for children in your 20s and 30s where as in my teens I didn’t feel like that I even though I was menstruating regularly but as I became a young adult I noticed the shift. But I’m sure things change in the 40s and 50s because women start to experience premenopausal symptoms/menopause.
Tfs your story. You are right being on BC so long we do not experience the extreme mood swings. I also agree as you age your cycle either gets lighter or heavier! Sadly I am going thru a bad breakup, already had my child, so I'm considering stopping my BC pills soon. I just hope it's not too bad. I have been on pills for 22 years!

Girl! You are not alone. Came off of my bc after being on it for 7 years and I was an emotional wreck with my 1st period. Like you it was an instant switch. I've had 4 since then. They are bad as well but not anywhere close to how I felt with with the 1st one.

I was on birth control for years from about 18 to 24 to help with extremely painful cycles. I didn't notice a major shift in my mood until recently. I think that now I am getting older my hormones are going through changes as well. I am not on BC now, but my goodness!😬 The emotional changes I experience during my cycle is insane! I literally cry at things that I wouldn't normally, and I become very irritable.🥴 Total opposite of my norm lol! I love the New Balances by the way! I used to hate tennis shoes as a kid, but I love them now lol!💞

Im on the Mirena & I experience this almost every month , sadness, so sentimental & anything makes me cry as soon as I get close to my period it happens. But I don’t get normal periods just spotting ..my hormones are definitely all messed up ..I wonder how it will be once I’m off it ? It takes some time to soften. You’ll definitely have to break it in. I wish I could have sometime larger and more comfortable but if you’re looking for something that sleek and more so for the looks then I think this one’s nice!
