If I was out flashing my dollars, Id be a bit** not a baller they paint me out to be bad, so its okay that I'm mad." I love the way she uses the same words but twists them around. And especially the last line is about how she was portrayed as a really mean person and cancelled online. There were a lot of people that specificlly criticized her dating "so many" guys, but the same men never get criticized for dating women (sometimes much younger then them). So in the end she has to tell herself and everyone else that "it's okay that I am mad" which in my mind perfectly connects to mad women- a song about this sterotipical women, who as soon as she portrays any negative emotions, like anger, is immediatly put of as crazy, mad or histerical. But it is okay to be mad about those inequalitys of gender expectations and you are allowed to speak up about sexism and do something, to change the world to be more equal, withou being put of as a crazy feminist.

Yeah, the double standards thing is still an issue even for one of the richest, most famous, most privileged women in the world. It suuuucks! And you are absolutely right about huge age gaps being an issue. I'm less worried if the younger person (let's face it, usually the woman), is over 25. Your brain is fully developed after that age and people must then take responsibility for their own stupid choices. As long as that relationship was a choice, not forced, of course. But yeah... No one should be dating someone they could be the grandparent of 😂

We'll do the same thing as men, but we're called names for it, or thought of as less human for it.... meanwhile a man gets called amazing for doing the bare minimum of taking their kid to the park. It sucks. And no, you're not wrong. Older people should not be dating anyone under 25 (she looks that young). Their brain isn't even fully formed yet, it's gross. If their brain hasn't fully formed and they don't understand consequences, they may as well be children. There is only one reason to do that and it's never for anything good.
Here’s my take on the gender issue (for anyone who gives a shit). There is definitely still misogyny in the world, but as you said, it’s definitely gotten a lot better. But men are also expected to be things, and patriarchy hurts men and women alike. Men are expected to not cry, to not talk about their feelings, to be providers, etc. And if a man can’t be these things, or deviates from society’s standard of masculinity, he is brutally mocked and put down. Overall, I think we should just stop putting expectations of what people should be and what their roles in society should be, and allow then to decide for themselves what works for them. I’ve lived as a man and as a woman, so I definitely know both sides of the issue.
I feel u, everything will be ok again, you will be fine someday, take it day by day, hour by hour. Healing is not a lineal process, u will have ups and downs, but that is your journey. You’re strong, you’re a good person and you have plenty of love to give and receive too. Invest in being the person u want to become for yourself.
