Thanks Jay, might want to mention that the Valley View buffet is currently only open to people who have at least the second tier level player's card due to high demand and low staffing and if you do have at least the second tier level, you can only take in 2 others I believe. First timers wandering into Valley View cannot eat at the buffet unless they gamble hard all morning; getting second tier is no joke.
I go S. Cal Harrah’s often. I build up my Caezar’s tier points and go the Vegas Comped. I love their pool & taco truck. I also stop along the road and buy freshly picked oranges. Big bag for $5.
great video. I didn't even know san diego had casinos. I would visit and check them out. That hampton inn looks nice and spacious. I like staying in bigger hotel rooms when i travel away from home. I definietely sleep with the nghtlight on too. IT's creepy waking up to darkness, lol. be safe and keep up the good work. Alita
Thanks for the info, I have only been to Sycuan so far. The Hampton Inn Poway looks fun and the pool seemed relaxing too. I can't wait to visit the other 4 casinos.
I frequented Sycuan & Viejas during my college days. Barona is my casino now mainly because of the air quality in the casino and the relaxed vibe in the table games. Note that there is alcohol served in Barona, you just have to go down the escalator where the Sports Bar is (near the steakhouse & Italian restaurant), but alcohol isn’t allowed to be brought back up to casino floor.
The casinos that offered buffets are all gone in California when the casinos have replaced them with other restaurants or have closed them with just a wall like Jackson Rancheria in Jackson, California(The Mother Lode Area in the Sierra Foothills Northern California). The only buffets are in Nevada.
Been to Harrah's Rincon and Valley View Casinos. They are both great. We are making plans to check out the other casinos on our next trip. BTW, that snake would have scared the @#$% out of me too! LOL Thank you Jaycation and Dadcation.
I used to love the SD casino’s before the pandemic. Now all the buffets are gone, the barona poker room is gone, and Valley View forces you to gamble to get into the buffet until you reach tier 2. It’s just not the same 😔 great video though!
Love the video, went to Valley View last night enjoyed the steak house! Highly recommend it’s just a bit loud in there. Thanks for checking out the hotel. Congratulations on 50K- let’s gooooo to 💯K!!!!
Jay you are making me feel sad I miss all the casino's there since I I am a San Diego born there and raise all my life but had to move so please pick me i lived in El Cajon it was a great time.
This seems to be a very charming place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!
I am not a fan of casinos, as You have to have more than a bit extra money to go. Usually, most people lose .I live in Connecticut, where we have 2 Large Native American casinos. I've been to both and a few times I won $100.Last time I had $150 and lost it all .I am talking about slots machines .I've heard Blackjack the odds are better!
I’m so sad, bc I really want to find a casino with a spa and a buffet. But love your videos. We are new to San Diego and enjoyed your videos before we moved as well as now.
Thanks for the video Jay! Love your content as usual 😃 One thing to note about valley view casino buffet (since I was there recently) the buffet although it is $42; it is only for card members that are blue color card and above. So new members or red card members cannot purchase the buffet 😢

This was great to watch! My partner and I will be visiting these casinos in the future!!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾. Thanks, Jay Jay!
A soup stand in the food court? That's for old people like me, 😄. You make me want to go.
Thanks for the info, I have only been to Sycuan so far. The Hampton Inn Poway looks fun and the pool seemed relaxing too. I can't wait to visit the other 4 casinos.
Great post and Dadcation too‼️woohoo🥳
My favorite is Viejas it’s the 1st and only casino I went to. I loved there crab legs in the casino buffet.
We love Barona! Really a non-smoking casino which is good for the elders to go. Employees are so nice too.
Sycuan for the mention! Hampton looks like a nice spot to stay. Love the content, Jay!
The holiday sandwich at Earl of Sandwich sounds amazing! Great review of all the casinos! -S
Yep..use a night light... Love Harrah's lazy river.

My best one is Vegas casino was my best one I lived near there when I lived in San Diego I sure miss my home town 😊🍀👍
Video poker ! Now we're talking ! BIG KATS POKER would probably like to visit. Nice looking suites.
My favorite is Harrahs and Pechanga( Temecula)
We sure do have alot of casinos in SD, the 5 mentioned plus Pala, Jamul and Pauma. I wonder how we compare to other areas in terms of # of casinos.
When Barona first opened my cousin set the course record on the golf course. A week later someone broke that record!
We need a post Covid San Diego casinos tours 🤘
I plan to visit daygo in October. Thanks for this

Gracias por él tour Jay. Gracias
Definitely kept up with other Filipino boxers because of Manny, like Brian Viloria and Nonito Donaire!
the thing that sucks about valley view is that you need to be a member to eat at the buffet
I’m so sad, bc I really want to find a casino with a spa and a buffet. But love your videos. We are new to San Diego and enjoyed your videos before we moved as well as now.
Wow casino, ganun pala jan. Sana ol
Are they different than Vegas casinos?
I actually pack my own night light when I travel. lol
Yes Brian Viloria, I remember him! A night light, my mom and aunties all use a nightlight. Is it a Filipino thing? lol

First
Bravo a bona appitti Bravo's
Barona Casino is the most hated casino in San Diego.
They also have the smallest pool out of all of the casinos.
Sycuan is horrible. I would never recommend that place
I never won there
