R.I.p June brown and Dot Branning she will be forever ♾ missed 💔😭.
Jane Called Ian
What an episode I was crying twice in Eastenders history the has has made me cry both episodes with Natalie Cassidy the first time was when one of her boyfriends died her performance was fantastic. Tonight's episode had me crying hearing the tributes just made me cry and seeing the pack of cigarettes 😫. Then hearing Dots voice was so emotional. It was a surprise to see Adam Woodyatt aka Ian Beale return to Eastenders for a cameo. I really hope Ian Beale will be returning to Eastenders his character has been been missed.
Ian Beale could see Sharon and Lofty and Mery and Colin that would be great
Ian Beale could come for Lola funeral that would be great
Really I found it pretty fake
@@fresh.prince7472 it is fake ,you know that right?
You didn't cry at Ethel's headstone being shown?
Can't believe Ian was there what a shocker
" I ain't the one to gossip"
" oh I say"
Iconic quoted of Dot Branning ❤
"I never drink, except for medicinal purposes"
There was also a specific scene where she's talking to someone, and she says "it ain't hardly good for the health" (or to be exact, "it ain't 'ardly good for the 'elf", about something (probably alcohol, or something), just before she takes a puff of her cigarette.
I wasn’t expecting to see Ian Beale!!! Such an emotional and fitting send off for the great June Brown and Dot Cotton ❤️❤️
Wonder if that Jane or new person who he is with
And Lauren
@@KaleemAkbar786 wonder they do a big return to square one day
I'd be surprised if Ian's left permanently. Most people who leave Eastenders often come back unless they're killed off
@@charlieconetta8261cindy
I'm so glad eastenders used Julia's theme, a iconic character like Dot deserved the use of the theme.
that actually used dots theme an song theme
Dot Branning was the Grandmother of Albert Square. Her gossip, sweet nature, her relationship with Jim Branning, dealing with her troubled son Nick Cotton, her job at the laundrette with Pauline Fowler and Ethel Skinner made Dot who she was. A fantastic character a legend. R.I.P June Brown ❤❤
😢
She literally was the grandmother of the square. Between her and Jim. Mostly Jim they had 20 grandchildren.
And several great grandkids. Annie being the youngest so far. Lol
How absolutely lovely to see Ian!!! Well-done, everyone, for giving Dot the send-off she deserves.
Ooooo is this Ian back in enders or just a one off for dot?? Who's this love his talking too? Jane maybe? Otherwise why bring it up
@@joshuacarroll6668 he only came back for this one as he's still busy doing things
And lofty
@@joshuacarroll6668 @Phillip Stannard, I'd be surprised if he's gone permanently. Most people who leave Eastenders often come back unless they're killed off
Ian could have walked inside and surprise everyone, and I think he was on the phone to Jane
No that would never have happened because then that would have taken away from dot/the ceremony and tainted it with unnecessary drama
It could have been Cindy since it's been announced she is returning lol. Eastenders sadly died years ago.
Never will there ever be a more iconic character then dot cotton
Phil Mitchell! Pat butcher! Ian Beale! Dot was there from the beginning her character was jarring for me at times! Let's be honest she never held the torch how Phil holds it... Once Phil is gone EastEnders will practically be dead... Shit I'll stop watching it too🤦🏾😭
I haven't watched enders since 2008 but watched it from ep1 and saw June Brown's creation grow into this iconic figure. I had to watch this episode tonight which was very moving and very well done. Loved seeing the old characters that showed up, Colin, Mary, Lofty. A fitting ending for Dot, all the more sad because the great actress that created her has also gone. RIP June Brown.
I can't take it seriously, looks like a lot of people trying hard to look upset. The show used to feel so authentic, not the same anymore
What an amazing episode for Junes life as a eastender she will be missed by all of us
Shocked to see lan but good send off for the legend that was Dorothy cotton 😭
@@KaleemAkbar786 great..
Beautiful episode. Such a perfect tribute to Dot & June Brown 💔
Dot will forever be the greatest resident of Albert Square. Hats off to the late great June Brown for making her Character so special!
PRAYING “love” was Jane. Such a beautiful episode
Honestly, Ian better stay away from the square if he's back with Jane as everyone else hates him
I was not expecting Ian beale to return, but I think it was good that he returned to see the funeral after everything that happend with Dennis’s death and Sharon almost poisoning him
I haven't watched the show since 2011 and hearing Sharon tried to poison Ian is just ridiculous considering the history they had together as they are 2 of the original characters.
She's in for a big shock when Ian returns with Cindy
No Wonder Phil Mitchell hasn't returned for Dot's Funeral.
He is so disrespectful.
He’s always been disrespectful
He’s narrow minded East End thug who has no respect for anyone not even the law he’s hardly a lawyer biding citizen.
Grant Mitchell should be there for Dot Cotton funeral
Bring back Ian 🔥🔥 also I was surprised max branning wasn't there
I have a feeling it was Jane who was ringing Ian and they’ve gotten back together off screen
Shows how much Adam respected her and the character to come back when he really doesn’t want to do tv anymore
I'd be surprised if he's gone permanently. Most people who leave Eastenders often come back unless they're killed off
apparently he’s coming back next year
That’s a lie he’s doing other things he willl be back has Ian again very soon
@@ronki23he’s only have a break will return
@@_ollieeyes
When all the millennials and gen z viewers see characters like lofty, mary the punk and colin they haven't got a clue who they are and don't care about them
Wow I shock Ian was back . Will he be back
OMG Ian !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Come back Ian Beale we miss you
Jada Is Returning 🙄
Cant stand weasel beale
@@iliketowatchvideos47 me neither
None of the characters miss him LOL
@@ronki23 apart from you.
June Brown left this programme partly because of the rubbish scripts which she wanted no part of and that is exactly what we got lastnight. Painful to watch... great actors and crap script writing sgain..... Was Dot related to the entire square? All we needed was Phil to turn up to really sink it completely.
Glad Colin, Barry, Mary Smith and Lofty returned
Yeah but Disa wasn't very good. It would have been far better seeing Nigel return instead of her.
@@gyobfan22 Yeah Nigel was close to Dot
Shocked to see a cameo from Ian guess he’s back with Jane .
I have a funny feeling it's Mandy.
Keep it real like Ian Beale !
Beautiful performance from Natalie. Dot was the heart of the show for 30 years.
Adam Woodyatt mentioned nothing about an EastEnders return for Ian Beale.
Adam Woodyatt he’s too busy these days.
Good to see him back on the screen even if it was for short appearance.
People believe media he is coming back soon
@@jazmorrison9030 And he’s not coming back anytime soon why would he.
Wait, it’s that Ian?
Yep thats Ian alright 😄
I thought Nigel may have appeared
Right! He was on Holby City as late as March, so he is still acting and Dot was so kind to him.
I did too, or at least be mentioned. I still remember him complementing Dot on how much of a mother figure she was to him, and therefore should've had all the more reason in making an effort to say his farewells in person. Is this because Paul Bradley was unavailable at the time of filming?
IAN😲😲😲
Ian looks good!
I watched this episode last night and I can tell you I was almost in tears and this from an OAP chappie who has been watching Eastenders since Day 1. This is for me the most beautiful EE episode bar none. Dot, you will always be remembered. RIP honeybun🙏🙏🙏!!
Come on Ian, stick around. RIP Dot, the grand dame of Albert Square.
Ian Beale could see Jannie Butcher and Kthey Bele and Bobby Bele and Afie Moon and Jack Brannig and Dennis Fox and Patrick Traman and Mick Carter and Martin Fowler that would be great
Bravo -- beautiful send off.
And Cyde and Terry Raymond and Natalie and Mark Fowler Jnr and and David Wicks and Simon Wicks and Al Osman and miss Dot Cotton funeral
Good send off for Dot
Why is Ian keeping his distance ?
Because people know he a bit responsible for denny death
@@alfiemoon2516 a bit?🤣
@@iliketowatchvideos47 He locked Denny in a room but he wasn’t the one who sunk the ship. Phil, Keanu and Sharon are all to blame too.
Mega shock i was not expecting lan beale can't wait for his full return
None of the other characters want him back
Rannie and Stuart and Rebecca Fowler and Grant Mitchell and Lisa Fowler and Sean Slater and Joey Brannig and Alice Brannig miss Dot Cotton funeral
Not some without you Ian Beale
Very sad episode and June kids were actually there ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Rip June, dot will miss you so much will miss you on eastenders 💗
I'm going to be honest, I literally teared up when I saw the coffin being lowered. Bye Dot. Bye June 🙏.
I didn’t expect to cry at all but I did at several points during the episode. How lovely June’s children were also involved.
Good to see the legends bk i was waiting for nick to come in at the end of the funeral and say good bye ma bit late to have the funeral would been beter if every actor who wasnt killed of and alive turned up long live the queen dc # db
Just like on Coronation Street all the women wear tights for a funeral 😤
As soon as I saw that shoulder I knew who it was
yeah rip Dot and June ax
WE KNEW YOU WONT LET US DOWN IAN NICE ONE MY SON
Plot twist: that was Phil Ian was talking to on the phone. 😘😆
Underrated comment
Wonder if Ian will come back for good soon hopefully he does
None of the other characters want him back. However, most people who leave Eastenders often come back unless they're killed off
R.I.P June, she was a shepherd in real life too, used to give me a lift from the studio to the station each week, I was sat in the back amongst empty consulate fag packets lol, she rang me over the years and send Xmas card too, she even introduced me to mal young I think his name was at an end of summer party, I got in to acting but clearly never made it, but had lovely memories from Elstree when the show first started, Bill Treacher was a lovely man too, the first cast member I met, got lovely photos from back then.
Ian Beale could meet Heavey and Tarry Rokey Cent and Zack Huson and Ravi that would be great
Where’s Ian been this whole time?
doing other things
In the CRM with Rick Grimes.
Keeping away because everyone in Walford hates him.
I wonder who was Ian referring to as LOVE???
Phil. Or Grant. 😂
Hopefully Jane
Mick.
When I saw Ian I thought I was dreaming 😱
Surprised they didn't get a drag queen to dance on Dots coffin.
RIP June Brown and Gretchen Franklin
Ian Beale could see Rakky Butcher and Lauren Brannig and that would be great
Wooo what a lovely sent of
They missed out the part when everyone stood up and gave their memories of Dot.
Oh my god Ian Beale is back for Dot's funeral. How did he find out Dot died.
He's probably in touch with his family.Kathy Bobby ETC. They aren't gonna tell anyone their in touch with him as Phil/Sharon want him dead. But if he returns I feel like Sharon will of forgot about it.
Social media
I told him about the funeral
Not really watched the show since Ian Beale left maybe this indicates he's coming back.
Lovely touch to allow here real kids in the back ❤
What a fantastic tribute to Dot and June Brown ,other soaps take note ,this is how you do it
Keane is back 🤩🤩🤩
dot randomly going to ireland was shit but this was a good respectful send off
Perfect eulogy Sonia. Always loved and treasured. A real woman in all our hearts.
Even though June Brown ( Dot Cotton)character was the Square's busy body I loved her and will miss her.
On the Drama channel, Jim and Dot have just got married
Might have been Phil who called Ian!
134
Wish everyone could see Ian
A cameo from the ghost of Nick would have fitted well here.
RIP Queen of Eastenders Dot Branning I will miss you 😢 very much
Bit late in the day , June Brown passed away ages ago and the shameless bbc waited till Christmas to use it to grab higher viewing figures. Rip June you were a truly amazing actress.
That's because they film like 3 months ahead.
The producers are now saying Ian is coming back full time soon.
Hopefully with Jane
Is this a sign for Ian to comeback? Let's hope so. And question is...was that Jane on the phone?
Ian Beale could see Ban Mitchell and Billy Mitchell and Phil Mitchell that would be great
We get the point Abdu
Ban?
Homeless Ian Beale mk 2
I thought he was homeless again when I first saw him but the "Hi love yeah I'm coming home" sort of defeats the purpose.
Ian Beale is back
Keeping it real
she was so overrated
i won't miss her
I think people liked her because of her wholesome personality, plus she was one of the show’s originals.
@@H.K.5 her character was a nosy judgemental cow. never really understood why she was so popular.
LAN should have gone in to say his goodbyes
RIP Dot and not forgetting Bill Treacher aka Arthur Fowler who died last month at 92.
Dot appeared in the show less then 6 months from the first episode.
Such an Eastenders Icon probably more so then Peggy Michele !
Wouldn't it be a nice touch if the BBC made at least one special episode set in the 60s with Dot and Charlie , Lou & Albert Beale ,Ethel , Pat and not forgetting Teenage Den Watts , Pete "Treacle" Beale and his sister Pauline .
than*
Natalie did a great job there
I miss her soooooooo much I loved Evrey minute When I watched you dot RIP DOT It was Nice seeing Ian return
At least Sonia didn’t embarrassingly sing like she did at Jim’s funeral 😂 RIP Dot and Jim. Together again ❤
The sadness and emotions on the actors faces are real, especially with the person who plays sonia she spent many ters working beside her ❤
Sonia was a moose
A beautiful episode of Dots funeral so sad that Ian didn't stay long
I wish Ian Beale could spend Christmas with Kthey and Bobby and Ban
Ian and Ben pretty much hate eachother these days tbh
@@DemarD__D they don't hate each other Ian and Ban always Good
Ian Beale always good with Ben Mitchell
@@DemarD__D Kthey Bele and Bobby hasn't seen Ian Beale for ages seen last years
@@abdurahim1110 I know, but leading up to when Ian left, Ian and Ben really seemed to hate eachother
Ian Beale is the Rick Grimes of Eastenders
Yep he is. Both characters are in a mysterious location with mysterious people. I guess Ian is in the CRM and here's actually a funny thought. A person in the CRM is actually called General Beale I guess he found a show transporter and moved to the walking dead.
Was great seeing Adam alias Ian
So glad that Ian's appearance was kept under wraps -- I hate spoilers! Adam Woodyatt has never looked so good in all his life --- very handsome!
Are you being serious?
you need glasses, mate
@@bp6329 🤣 ok maybe not "very handsome" in a Hugh Jackman kind of way but Ian was always a dweeb and now he just looks normal. He looks A LOT better now than he did 3-4 years ago when he looked very unhealthy.
