Putting the Finishing Touches on My Merida Bustle Dress || Historical Disney Princess Costume
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 23 апр 2021
- Hello Friends!
This video covers doing all of the small, but extremely time consuming, work that is finishing a bustle dress. I applied closures, fringed out my over skirt, added ribbons and tapes inside the garments to help them stay put, and then i used a hot knife to cut out appliques, which i then applied to the skirt of this Merida costume.
This Historical Disney Cosplay is Merida and I will be doing it in conjunction with a bunch of my friends, who all wanted to do some cool Disney costumes together and see how they would turn out. We all decided to update our princess or villain of choice to our favorite eras, for the most part. If you have a historical Disney Costume, I would absolutely love to see it and post about it, so feel free to send it on over to me And I can add your Video to my Playlist!
If you'd like to see more Historical Disney Princesses and Villains, you can check out my pals channels and they will be updating soon with theirs as well!

"hiding in other people's houses and eating *their* takeout" sounds like heaven and also I died laughing.
It sounds so good right now!
Those bears are intense. Good job on everything! And I'm doing the Disney collab too, with my 1838 Cinderella! My first video on it will be out on Tuesday, if you want to add me to your description/playlist.
I was hoping someone would do Cinderella, I can’t wait to see how yours turns out!!
Yay!
I'm working on a Cinderella dress for myself too. Me and my daughter go to renfaires. And I made us both Cinderella dresses.
I'm highly introverted. I also am an employee of an "essential business", so I never really stopped going out and doing things(I work almost 50 hours a week). I would be happy to quarentine, but I have to make do with masking and distancing because I have to go in to work.
I am relieved to hear that I'm not the only one that is angry at people. I have witnessed some of the worst selfishness and idiocy. It breaks my heart every day. I liked to think we as a nation would stand together in a crisis such as this, but I was so very wrong. 😢💔
Lol, I didn't even think of the fact that the burning would cause soot/burn marks on the underside 😅 woops! But Yessss, 10/10 satisfying video 👌
In New Zealand we are covid free, only cases in last 6 months have been border related, quarantined and controlled. Masks are worn on public transport and no where else. Last night there was a concert attended by 50 000, life is normal other than closed borders so no international tourism. Our vaccine rollout has barely started. Hope you have a great weekend away, and get to enjoy some normal life. That embroidery is stunning, so worth the effort involved
New Zealand is one of my bucket list visits and I would probably end up staying there if I wasn't so Americanized.
Hi fellow kiwi
so happy for you all
Hello from another Kiwi.
Noelle wants to come here one day.
We should encourage her to lock it in and do a meet and greet.
As a Virgo, it was emotionally thrilling to see the button holes, buttons, and pattern of the tartan all line up beautifully.
Amazing work!
Thank you!!
Ok, I literally have a million pairs of scissors, but now I NEED a pair of unicorn scissors!
A valid need. I don’t believe one can ever have too many scissors.
i *love* "you're dead to me!" podcast!!! if you like that, you would love "horrible histories", which was a kids programme about history, and it is brilliant! it's got a talking rat in it, and the "stupid deaths" thing is just the best thing ever!!! i am so jealous that you get to hang out with abby and nicole (i love those pair!)
Love the finishing up concept. It really gives an idea of how much extra work doesn't always get shown.
So I was keeping my grandson. Got over early he was still sleeping. I was watching your video at costume college. He woke up and spotted you as "Ironman!" He screams "Nana, I LOVE IRONMAN!" So needless to say it was backed up a few times for him to see "Ironman!!" I then had to put an Ironman tattoo on him!! He still talks about it 2 weeks later!!
That is fantastic!!
Being scared of liking people is my life in a nutshell haha!
I've noticed just disliking being amongst people too! Like the park next to my house got super crowded during lockdown so now I don't go there anymore, though I used to love it! Now I'm just walking along random streets in my neighborhood hoping not to meet anybody!
I just got my second vaccine shot today. Once I'm two weeks clear, I think I'm going to be fine going to restaurants and theaters and seeing friends who are also vaccinated. For me it's never been as much about being afraid of getting Covid myself, I've always been much more worried that I would unknowingly pass it on to someone else. Now that I'm vaccinated, I'm very unlikely to do that, so I'm perfectly happy to start doing 'normal' stuff again. That said, I'm still going to mask up and social distance and all that good stuff, because the people around me have no way of knowing that I'm "safe", as it were. And I might just rock this whole mask thing going forward, because I definitely noticed that all of these precautions not only kept me from getting Covid, but I didn't get any colds or flu during this last year either. So maybe the mask can still help reduce the frequency of infection from non-Covid airborne pathogens. It's worth a shot, because colds and flu are super not fun.
One of my students asked me if I thought we’d still be masking next fall and I said I didn’t know (because I don’t) but I also said that I hope that putting on a mask when you aren’t feeling good or have a cough or cold would be a good thing. I Really Loved not having a cold this year even once!!
My Dad is in care.
If I was responsible for making him ill I would be devastated.
What people don’t realise is if as a vaccinated person you meet the Covid vaccine you can still catch it, even the Pfizer vaccine is only 95% effective. This means in the couple of days until your vaccinated body manages to produce enough antibodies to kill the the vaccine you can pass it on. Hence mask wearing will continue to be important. The vaccine does mean however you will not be ill with the infection, but it doesn’t mean you can’t pass it on to anyone unvaccinated and make them ill. Hospitalisation and death rates are vastly reduced with the vaccine so you are protection.
@ Siansonea Orande. Well said. But do continue to wear a mask and social distance. Vaccines are not 100% effective but do reduce effects if you catch it. And, it hasn't been determined whether or not you can spread C19 if you've been vaccinated. I received my second shot in mid March.
It sure was nice not having a cold or the flu this winter.
The pattern matching across the front of the top is beautiful! I'm so excited to see it fully finished! Also thanks for keeping me company over breakfast again XD
Almost my entire family and all my parent's friends are vaccinated, so my mom has started hosting a few dinner parties again, it's been very weird! Like it's almost too normal, everything is exactly the same as before but there's an undercurrent of "are we supposed to be doing this?" "Is this allowed?" "How am I supposed to act around these people? I don't remember"
My husband and I are watching timeless on Hulu when I'm not sewing, when I am sewing, I'm watching/listening to you, and I'm still working on the two Pikachu costumes at the same time in an assembly line fashion.
Well, I just don’t have words to adequately describe how much I’ve enjoyed watching all these videos of you working on your Merida dress! I am in total awe of your dedication to detail and how spectacular you look in it! I’m guessing your husband appreciated it too!
Those appliques are awesome on that skirt!!! Also, I have had my first shot, second in about 2 weeks. I can finally hug my grandchildren!!!
I loved this! I'm in Sweden and we're currently on third winter with snow and stormy winds again... I'm re-listening to "Rivers of London" by Ben Aaronovitch, cannot recommend enough! Ghosts and magic and crime, just great and really funny.
Oh, fellow Swede here! I`m currently living in Switzerland but I`m so hoping that I can come and visit this summer. Do miss my friends and family back home! @drivebyanycraft
Doing the little things. . . right now, me too. I think my absolute favorite part of wiping the board is counting down the bustle dresses! Also, I have never seen the long skirt hooks before. I'm glad you found one of the hooks because I could not even guess how they worked. The BEARS!! THE BEARS!!! Happy hiding in other peoples' houses and eating take out! May we all be so lucky! And YES! LOVE A LONG VIDEO! (listen to that little voice that wants you to be weirded out about it, it might be what keeps you safe from a variant.)
"I am doing what I want" love it, that is how it gets done. 😍
So close! I can't wait to see it finished! I appreciate that you talked about actually finishing a garment.
Battlestar Galactica is literally like one of my favorite shows ever.
I feel so relived to be vaccinated. It is so nice knowing, going into summer in Texas that I will be able to also visit my friends that are vaccinated in the air conditioned indoors and not be so isolated. We have been out to a couple restaurants now that had good distancing and it's just been a really strange experience. I am enjoying all the pop up patio situations though, it still feels the safest. It's going to take me awhile to get used to it again.
Gorgeous work! I really enjoyed watching this, especially the pinning of the bears, I think it really came together then! Covid has been hard for me and my family (we live in France and we're 6), I'm the oldest, got my masters last year, was supposed to be a teaching assistant in the UK starting last September and everything crumbled one day after my birthday last year bc of covid restrictions between FR and the UK. I got a teaching job in France, got depressed, almost unalived myself, got better, had a weird Christmas and my dad was ill, and we found out in January that he has cancer. I was already pretty strict about not going out and since the diagnosis dawned on us I haven't been outside. My brother and I were chosen to give bone marrow to my dad (because his leukemia is a very bad one, we could've lost him in January) and the surgery is next week or the week after. I've launched my Etsy shop and I have had no orders yet, I feel worthless tbh.
I've been through hell when the covid situation seems to have gotten better for most people, and it's really painful to be happy for others when you're at your lowest. My mum's halfway vaccinated with Astrazeneca and can't get the other dose bc it's banned now for her, my 3 siblings and I can't get a hold of the vaccine to protect my dad (cuz Covid would kill him since he's done 3 rounds of chemo) and I honestly am scared and sad. But we're pushing through doing our very best, and I honestly cannot thank the costubers enough because I am a creative person and I crave all of this wonderful content to feel inspired and productive.
Thank you Noelle, I think I get to see you more than I see important ppl in my life so you're kind of part of my weekly life and habits ahah! I like having your videos and LadyRebecca's videos specifically to look forward to every week, I get to hear about sewing and creative hurdles and see cats and dogs. Love you two very much 💕
Those unicorn scissors are super appropriate. I love it.
Love the bears, omg. And I was glad you went with the green buttons. I liked the tiny bit of contrast, and yet matchiness.
Potentially looking into making a Ghostbusters Burlesque costume half thrifted but obviously there will be some sewing involved. And Rhinestones. I can understand your madness from I'm New Zealand and we are so lucky. I worry for the rest of the world and feel for you.
Oh! This is finishing in the usual way 😜👗
Loved the whole thing, lots of fun to watch while knitting, and wow, what a wonderful iron/cutter, OMG I need one, have no idea what I'd use it for right now, but well gadgets! So thought I mention this, while you were at your end chat, talking about the podcast with Morgan, etc, the position of your head to the hanging lamp, it looks as though you are wearing a crown, perfect! Can't wait to see the photos, but don't kill yourself taking them!
I had one of those little Clover irons. Just last week I gave myself a literal third degree burn on my pointer finger from it. I no longer have a fingerprint, so if you need any crimes committed, just let me know (totally kidding!).
They are terrifying and awesome at the same time!!
Lol, yes, they are both those. You were not wrong about how hot they get, even on like medium heat they are crazy hot!!
Have you ever thought about using those heat gloves that you get with curling irons when you use it? Just thought if it saves your hands from the heat of curling irons it would also work for this as well.
I have one of the little irons as well. I have not burnt myself yet but I’m sure I will eventually. I do love it when ironing fiddly little things that. So much easier when you have a small seam on the pressing ham
@@redhawk5887 I did actually think about that. I have one that came with my curling wand, but I've never used it. I might try that because that iron could be so handy for small things.
Hooray finishing touches! I watched this while finishing up a very simple plaid dress of my own. (Serrendipity)
I have been doing all sorts of things rather than finishing the dress. Now, during edit, I have both finished the dress ( I still have to confirm that I caught even part of every seam, but I am calling it ready to use), and, I mended another dress.
I watched the Nevers & really liked it. I only saw the first episode so far.
OH MY GOSH I’ve seen for years and watched every costuming video out there, but this has been the SINGLE MOST HELPFUL!! It has been a game changer to see that whiteboard and your planning process and how you decide the order of construction!!!
I’ve temporarily parked my knitting because my allotment garden is taking most days my time, I’ve got loads on the go in the ground and in the greenhouse. Fairly obviously my favourite way to unwind after the work is a warm bath and a book (coot club by Arthur Ransome 1930s at the moment). Beyond that I pride myself on watching as much mountain biking as I can because my boyfriend is a bicycle mechanic who loves mountain biking. Have a great week, I’m so looking forward to your final reveal x
Ps: 1st vaccine done, just waiting for the 2nd 😁
Watching you cut out those bears was sooo satisfying!
Watching you put the bears on had me biting my nails. Also, you being mad at people is relatable. I totally get it.
I’ve been vaccinated since March 8, but am still very leery of public gatherings. Went to a funeral this weekend and found it very uncomfortable to attend the reception afterwards because no one in the extended family wore a mask. I’m not sure when it will feel normal again, or what normal will look like. Love the embroidery bears, but talk about labor intensive! You continue to be an inspiration. Thanks for these glimpses into your projects and your thoughts.
This wool is still so lovely, it just makes me happy and makes me want to buys the wools for myself.
The buttons and the button holes are lovely and satisfying AF. I bought a button hole chisel and some button hole twist/top stitching tread that I’m going to use to make jeans and hand sew button holes because my machine does not do buttoned holes well at all and I’d rather have the control of doing them my self.
I hate going out and seeing people not wearing masks or not wearing them right...Utah has removed the mandatory mask mandate, I just got my second vaccine the other day but I still want to wear my mask when there are lots of people around.. few people that I know are safe is fine but people that get sick all the time and such is a nope...mask up...over the noes 🤦♀️
I appreciated seeing all the little steps! As I feel that is half of the sewing battle most days. The bears are magnificent. 🐻
I’m so glad I watched this before I started the task I have for today- hand sewing a zillion gear cogs onto the plate for a tutu. I was previously too scared to use my spray glue to help out- now I am feeling much more courageous.
"If you're having an extreme taco day"
Your patient dedication to detail never ceases to amaze me. You are such an inspiration! Such beautiful work. Gorgeous Merida bustle dress.
Husband and I are vaccinated and have just started venturing out to eat AT A RESTAURANT! It was weird, but also nice. We went out for our anniversary. I had a little margarita. I don't drink much. I got a bit tipsy and felt really nice. I'm pretty introverted so I have done okay being at home with just him, but it felt good to have something a little bit like the before time again. I hope you have great trips and enjoy them thoroughly.
I didn't know these mini irons can hold knives and other cool tools 😀 It just climbed up higher on my wishlist!👍
wow wow wow! that mini iron with the blade is genius and makes those appliques look fantastic!
Making buttons is so satisfying for me. I still have my mom's industrial upholstery button maker - one that looks like an antique well handle.
I noticed and found it funny that there's a bunch of shows with similar themed names: The Irregulars , The Nevers, and my brain just said 'what's next, the Not-in-a-Million-Years' ?'
Love all the little finish things. I may never sew something historical but I am sewing again and it’s been wonderful. I am also disgusted by other human’s behavior these days but it can help us focus on doing and being better. I also think it has made me less likely to admire someone I don’t personally know, but you are inspiring as a sewer and a human being. Keep true to yourself, thanks for sharing your life. Stay safe. 💜
I love the Celtic embroidered bears on the green silk skirt.
Noelle: "Happens to the best of us.".

Stay well and be safe. Virginia in Ohio
I had hand embroidered that bears pattern with backstitches to a skirt a few years ago, and now I'm getting machine embroidery envy! Satin stitches are so lush and gorgeous! A great accompaniment to a great dress!
I 100% support this Disneyland idea! do the thing if you feel comfortable with it!
Note to self: Do NOT WATCH COSTUMING DRAMA WHILE FABRIC SHOPPING!!! Sighs, this is a danger to my debit card balance. Severe danger to my debit card balance.
Looks good, Thank You so much for another lovely video. Thank You also for a finishing video. Sometimes it feels a bit like there is an instant gratification with costuming videos. I love a finishing video so much!
By the way, yesterday for the first time in forever, I went to visit friends in the next town over. It felt weird, really weird to be leaving the house to go visit instead of staying home and calling or zooming.
Hugs, -L
Hugs and take care!
As you were cutting out the bears I was like, ohhhhh that looks dangerous. And then I noticed the band-aid in the next part. Hope it wasn't too bad. We started watching Them, and DAMN..... fully vaccinated and all I've done it go to a friend's house for an early birthday dinner - there was 5 of us, all vaxxed and it was an absolute JOY. Like, I've been doing protest rides since last summer and stuff so I've been around people, but to be unmasked in an intimate setting was just a thing of beauty
Your patience and attention to detail is to be commended.
Your Merida is amazing and those fiddly bits are the cherry on top.
I watched a sewing tutor the other day.
She was saying. New sewists please remember that the sewing is only about 30% of the process.
The othe 70% is fabric prep, pattern adjustment, cutting and finishing. With lots of ironing.
She is quite right and this is why we seldom knock something up in an afternoon.
Wow, that is a lot of work, but so worth it! I cannot wait to see you wearing that dress. Love long chatty videos and when there is a rant.....OMG, what fun!
xoxo's Sandie
Yes! You're Dead To Me is one of my favourite podcasts!
I recognize that towel! My brother has the same one and it is about 20 years old now. Crazy to see that little piece of home in your video.
Weirdness aside, I appreciate that you are taking the ridiculous amount of time to truly finish a project and show us. This is where my thesis is too and it is motivating to see you do the thing and know that I can do it too.
Those buttons! That pattern matching! Ahh. So satisfying to behold!
'You're Dead to Me' is one of my favourite podcasts. Nice to hear it is being appreciated in other lands! I'm listening to 'The Battersea Poltergeist' at the moment, which is another BBC podcast, but I'm a wimp and finding it a bit too scary! 😂
Can't wait to see this complete, its going to be amazing!! I'm loving the bears, such a cute addition. I've also been watching The Nevers, and everyone is problematic... its part of being human. What you do after, fixing your past mistakes and not make them again and apologize for your past mistakes is what shows you're a good person and growing. No one is perfect. Now if you don't improve and make your apologize then you're a garbage human I have no time for. But happy thing, working with a friend to create a full set of Victorian underthings for an upcoming event in November... I'm so excited to have proper underthings for my bustle dresses.
Loving Merida. Your makes are helping ME get through these Surreal, Weird Year(s) of the Plague.
I’m SO EXCITED to see this!!!
Those bears may be a lot of work, between trimmimg/cutting out and sewing on, but so worth it. They're a stunning detail on the skirt.
Plus love your choice of buttons.
I work in the hospital and won't be getting my second shot for a couple more weeks. That being said, we're solidly in the midst of third wave where I live so things have been shutting back down rather than opening up. Oh well, I have tons of sewing to keep me busy.
I'm glad you went with the green! :) As soon as I saw the selection I was in green camp mostly. My back up was the wool ones.
I`m so looking forward to a fabric haul video! Like you did befor the pleauge! And please do go to Disneyland and make a video. We are probably not gonna get fully vaccinaten here befor fall so it would be nice to see a few of your "out and about" videos to keep me from missing traveling too much. Lots of love from Switzerland. @drivebyanycraft
I'm getting so excited to see the final product. It's been wonderful seeing it coming together
Hi, I love watching your finishing videos. I do not make costumes, but I watch you and others to learn about construction techniques.
Great video. Thanks for posting! Virginia
I believe the zig zagy button hole is for stretch fabrics. Thank you for showing all the nitty gritty bits! I will definitely need to incorporate the ribbons on the back pleats in the future. :)
Following up my quilters have the best tool belief - sewline glue pen are godlike, seriously a god made them and shared them with humanity. They are refillable, the glue holds lightly but doesn't come loose and doesn't mark. So when you're applying something like a fiddly seam or applique you slap this stuff on, and its a pen so you can be accurate, and adjust it into place and it leaves no marks or residue. It's for English piecing where you glue the fabric to a card shape to get specific shapes for quilting. I have about four of them and eight refills in my sewing box at all times. I was screaming at you when you were applying the bears.
I'm currently reading the Kingdom of the Wicked which is great, and rewatching the Untamed on Netflix which i highly rec
GAHHH YOU'RE SO CLOSE THAT'S SO EXCITING!!
You got this!
You're dead to me has been a favorite of mine for some time. Evil Genius might be worth checking out too. They discuss a famous dead person through facts.
Loved to see all the little details! Working on a 1860s sondag atm, very fitting with the weather getting warm. Not :D But I'm a very slow knitter so it's probably ready for next fall :D
The "You're dead to me" podcast is awesome! Love that they're covering a lot of historical topics and figures that are often not talked about in western school education and I've learned so much alr!
Gadgets! The iron looks surgery standard. BBC radio 4x has strange archive too, the old detective series! Safe journey.
Birdy
Yay!!! I’m excited about the finishing work!!!
I have truly enjoyed this vlog. It was just doing stuff and seeing all the steps. (I am vaccinated and had vaccinated people over for a bit this afternoon. It was awesome!!!!!)
As a knitter, I thoroughly approve of your technique of blocking the embroidery. It’s like my knitting world is colliding with my sewing and machine embroidery and I love it!
It was fabulously exciting to wake up to this! I definitely went *yussssss* when you picked the green buttons 😂 and my little ginger freak enjoyed watching the fringing intensely. I feel the freedom stress, as we open stuff back up and new mutations arise and the r rate goes back up in the UK. Exhausting! Sending love!
💚💙Wonderful🐻Noelle💙💚
Love, love, love! Can't wait to see it in it's completeness. The sped up portion of cutting out the bears was super stressful, how you didn't cut and or burn yourself (at the same time) I don't know. Thank you.
Wood burners can have exacto blade attachments that you can use for hot kniving. Good way to make stencils too, lol.
I'm slowly working on a pink and blue skirt that I'm excited to wear when it's done and watching a lot of RUclips! I've been listening to the Old Gods of Appalachia podcast, which is just awesome.
And thank you for the video! You gave me the motivation get off my butt and work on finishing the hem and buttons that I need to do! I can't wait to see the dress fully done!
You're Dead to Me is great. I love Greg Jenner the host. He has two great history books. The newest is "The history of celebrity". It's very entertaining
Can't wait to see the finished gown. Concerning vaccines, I'm fully vaccinated, as are three of the 5 others I live with. But I just go to doctor's appointments and the occasional shopping trip. When we have anything from a restaurant, it's usually delivery. We really don't have the money to go anywhere nor do we have a car, an essential part of going out, and Uber gets expensive after a while. My niece, who should be fully vaccinated soon, and their partner are going to Philadelphia, their home town, to visit friends in May. As for me, I'm making the Bootstrap Dress Form and will be starting to make a Natural Form gown as soon as that's done. I hope to have the gown finished by my birthday (Memorial Day weekend). But we'll see.
I love the bears :)
Very interesting video. Thank you!
I got my second dose on Friday! My goal is to be able to go get my grandchildren so we can spend a few weeks together this summer. I haven't seen them since I put them on a plane August 1, 2019, so this Grandma is hurting for some spoiling time with the grands. I have followed the masking rule to the letter and I have an entire box in the car because you never know when one will rip. I am so fed up with those that just will not comply. This outfit is my very favorite, because Merida is my favorite Disney Princess! You did a wonderful job and I can't wait to see the pictures of you in it!! Have a great Sunday evening!
I love the blade in the iron! I used a hot knife tool at a former job, very similar. I also recall a documentary about the textile industry in India where the pros used a stick with an ember burning on the end to do the burn out technique.
so grateful for a long Noelle vlog while I sit and whip stitch on SO MUCH lace on a linen regency slip chemise petticoat combo. SO much lace... Excellent choice on the green button. nice technique on the hot knife! love that. That promised rain pooped out big time so good luck with finding a coolish day for photos ; D
What a cliff hanger, so satisfying though. Well done with all the things finished!!! ❤️❤️
Girl! Those bears! Those bears! They just boost the whole outfit so far into the super cool, neat, absolutely wonderful, I can't even! (***takes deep breaths and calms down***) I'm fully COVaccinated and have been since Feb because I'm in so many risk groups it's not funny. So a week ago, I went to the grocery store without a mask and it was so weird! but I did it. (I live in Tx and the whole state government in Tx are such completely irresponsible *(&^%@#$!oles, don't even get me started!) Anyway, can't wait to see the outfit on you in all your combined glory!
YASS QUEEN I'VE BEEN LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS ALL WEEK!
Commenting during ads before watching.
Had my second vaccine Thursday. I'm struggling to adjust back to my regular tired self.
Going to watch now! Sending well wishes to everyone xo
Yay second vaccine!! 💖💖
Finishing touches and small details really do pull everything together.
YAYYYY Congratualtions on finishing the dress
Also consulting with a kiltmaker is such a awesome sentence.
Working on some pattern cutting while watching this one!
Thanks for sharing, it's great to see you as always! :D
I always love your videos because your relaxed attitude is so nice and calm to sew along with. Also When you were making your buttons I must admit I was straining to see what book you are listening to!
Noel I do love a finishing session, it’s so satisfying. Love that you had to tidy your draw, I’m watching battle star again at this moment, I have a few shows I’m rewatching. I playing with the idea of half scale garments, I hope this will satisfy my craving to make historical costumes but will less space. Got to go to a fabric store the other day by appointment, like going to a candy store on my own and just me there (heaven), like I’m using small stuff up that I’ve stashed away for years (so satisfying) great for mindfulness and great for OCD 🤣🤣. Jason from the UK 🤓
I am so excited to see the completed costumes!! They are so pretty. :-) As for your COVID question - I am fully vaccinated and still try to stay out of crowds. I always wear a mask in stores. I work in a 911 dispatch center with 70 employees and I do not want to bring something to work or home.
'Hiding in other people's houses '! YES! In the UK's case it's gardens, but that's almost as good.
I have been going to work as I'm NHS but I've been going from work to home and back again. Last weekend I was in a FIELD stealth camping in our van. There was a campfire! And other PEOPLE! And those who , like me, have had their vaccinations got a HUG. It was AWESOME!
Go see your pals and have fun. You're vaccinated, they're vaccinated, have fun!
I'm going to Disneyland in June also! I feel the same, I'm super excited about being in Disney but also still super anxious about stuff
