Knew you’d enjoy it! One of the most powerful edits out there. I think people forget Anakin was 22 when he made his mistakes. Sure, 22 is an adult, but still SO young and SO much room for mistakes. At the heart of his mistake was caring too much about a single person. And in the end, he lost everyone. Only had himself (and the emperor, what a consolation prize). I think what makes Anakins story as a hero so powerful is how relatable it is, because he’s human. And makes mistakes. But no matter how bad it was never too late for redemption.
I remember watching this years ago and almost crying my eyes out and watching it again now still has me choked up. Anakin was a slave his entire life. A slave on Tatooine, a slave to the jedi order, a slave to Palpatine, a slave to his own body and that abomination of a suit he was forced into, until he was finally set free by his own son who still saw the Light within him.
The Obi-Wan video by the same user is my favorite star wars video. It was mad before the show came out and has millions of views. If you think this one was good, you will love that one.
Nice reaction. This one had an "intimate" and somber feel to it. One thing I like about this tribute is the inclusion of young Anakin with so many dreams and aspirations at the start. Also, Qui- gon( the fatherly sage) who was replaced by the rather cold, and detached young Obi-wan. Back in EP. 1- Obi referred to the 9 year old Ani as a "pathetic life form". Palpatine played the role of the kindly "uncle" that cared for/respected Anakin. He simply listened and allowed Anakin to confide in him and be "himself"; unlike the detached order. I guess one could say that Anakin needed that father/mentor figure or sense of connection that the Jedi did not provide. The jedi definitely pushed Anakin further to Palpatine with their decisions. Lastly, just to put Palpatine and Anakin's relationship into perspective. Anakin was 9 years old when he arrived at the temple and 22 when he "fell". Though, that relationship of "grooming" or manipulations lasted until his 40s(ROTJ).
Great reaction! What an amazing tribute video. I can feel your emotion and appreciation for the character in this reaction. You couldn’t have said it any better about the feeling many of us get when it comes to Anakin Skywalker. One of the greatest characters in all of cinema. Happy to see you doing great with the channel keep it up you’re making a lot of people smile 👍🏼❤️
Recommended MUST WATCH star wars is the Auralnauts version of the saga. Start at episode 1 Jedi Party. It's so awesome and quotable it's life changing. Like, this is how star wars really happened in my head cannon now lol
You think that’s powerful, check out the remastered version. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry Anakin.” That is where I lose it every time. HFP is so amazing. You have to check out the rest of his videos. And Anakin did finally find peace, at his death.
I cried watching ur reaction to my recommendation , the tragedy of Anakin Skywalker is he was born a slave with no father to teach him and a mother who struggled just to feed them so even early on he lacked guidance on emotional and mental growth from a role model in early development , following his “ freedom “ was immediately thrown into the service and control of the Jedi order and they are directly responsible for the death of every person he has ever cared about and lost , there is not one person Anakin Skywalker has lost that he could not have saved if the Jedi’s views of attachment hadnt tied his hands so each death is the orders fault directly. Following his fall to Darth Vader he immediately went from the service of the Jedi to the service of palpatine ( not even directly the sith because palpatine had no intention of ever passing the sith on to a new generation) when his son Luke removed his mask that was the very first time he didn’t have a master and was just a human being , a father apologizing to his son and in his own way saying “ I love you “ to the last shred of padme he will ever see . Another great recommendation I have is ( Hey Brother , clone tribute ) this one is even better than this video
Excellent summary my friend! I agree with you completely! I was chatting with someone a few days ago about the line Obi Wan says: "I have failed you Anakin... I have failed you." He absolutely did. The entire council did as well. This would be another great topic of discussion! Hey Brother has been added to the list! Can't wait to check it out! Thank you!
You're adorable and so much fun to watch. I too am a huge fan of Anakin and Darth Vader, but what a tragic tragic story of a broken man who started as a slave and then was entombed in his armor.
@Big Time! How prophetic!! I completely agree because there were 20 years between Return of the Sith and A New Hope, where there's plenty of stories based upon Legend's to expose essential timeframes. The series Kenobi would have been more successful had it focused more on Darth and Kenobi instead of the inquisitors.
@@staroceans8677 I completely agree. It was a missed opportunity. They could have really fleshed out the Obi/Anni dynamic to make it even more heart wrenching than what we saw. The stories can pretty much write themselves yet Disney always seems to get in the way. Don't get me started. 🤣
BTW... Here are few more suggestions to add from the excellent ROTS novelization audio that expands on things: 1.) Dooku's Death | Revenge Of the Sith Audiobook | Mathew Stover. by Star Wars Story 2.)Palpatine Tells Anakin About Darth Plagueis Redub | Extended Dialogue | ROTS Novelization by Star Wars Opinion 3.)Revenge of the Sith Novel chapter (Obi Wan talks to Padme about Anakin) by Lazy Wizard 4.)Revenge of the Sith Novel Capter. Palpatine reveals himself to Anakin by Lazy Wizard
Try reacting to Skywalker a darth vader tribute. Its also a great fan-edit. You won't be disappointed. Chosen one and skywalker are my two favorite fan edits
HFP has many incredible videos. This one was amazingly powerful. It brought tears to my eyes. If you haven't yet, you should watch HFP's "The 501st". I think they also did a beautiful Ahsoka tribute. There are other fan films that are fantastic. There is "Hoshino" and one that Mark Hamill endorsed, I just forget the name right now. Plus there is an Old Republic fan film with Revan in it that is awesome. His speech in it should be required reading for everyone. If you want me to find those two titles, tell me, and I'll dig them up.

@@Pecos1 Thank you! I have added these to the list! Reaction/reviews coming up! Speaking of KOTOR, did you hear the news about the new game being put on hold?? Wth???
@@BigTimeReactions honestly, I'm glad the game was put on hold. The person they chose to head the project not only has never played a Star Wars game, but she hates Star Wars in general. I hope they find someone with an appreciation of Star Wars to head the project. BTW, I'm getting a Revan mask soon. An Italian guy is making it for me. A full helmet designed from Revan's actual mask.
Mmhhh… not that good. I mean, the scenes and edition was very good, BUT the music was a distraction since it’s SO FAR from what could fit Star Wars; there are AT LEAST two dozens of Star Wars music from the main saga, plus all the music from series bd spin-offs they could have use so it would fit… and they decided to use some music that feels like it’s a very European (sometimes very Irish, maybe also Mediterranean), so, it doesn’t connect with the universe of Star Wars!
Wow... that is interesting. So you DIDN'T think that connected just because of the music? Would love to see an example of a fan tribute that you feel DOES connect with SW.
It’s probably one of the greatest pieces of editing I’ve ever seen on the platform, the music choice was perfect for the emotion they wanted to present. The song is from transformers and carries a lot of weight with the transitions! This video will always live in my heart.
