    I was troubleshooting through multiple ways from different channels, but the first solution worked perfectly for me. Thank you very much!

    I didnt have carrier services installed , so installed the carrier services beta through play store, uninstalled Google messages, downloaded a very old Google messages apk, verified number, then updated Google messages to newest beta through the play store for RCS to finally connect.

    RCS is a mess. You shouldn't need to go though this 💩. I know my " fix" is in settings , app .. find the messaging app , then clear data /clear cache. At times I've had RCS just stop working so none of my messages go out and I'm not receiving any.

    I have the oneplus nord n200 5g on metro by t-mobile and I stopped using the stock messaging app because RCS kept failing. I started using Google Messaging and it was working until yesterday 3/18 and just failed and chat messages got stuck in sending, I had to turn off chat features in google messaging and re-verify to get it to work again, albeit the verification server seemed very slow, but it did work eventually...Any ideas why this was happening? Problems on Google's end? *It took about 10 minutes for it to re-verify for me.

    Just migrated to a new phone, and have this issue. Unfortunately, this fix didn't work for me. Still stuck on verifying my phone number. Though my Google account itself clearly shows that the number is verified, x minutes ago... I can send and receive SMS texts just fine, so guess I have to wait the week out...

      I just got it fixed! Here's what I finally had to do to make it work: I went into Messages app, and turned OFF the RCS setting that just stayed in "verifying" mode. I then downloaded and installed 'Chomp SMS' app from the Playstore. I then went into it, and set that to the DEFAULT SMS app, instead of Messages. After that, I then brought up Messages app again. That prompted me: "To use Messages, it must be the default SMS app" and offered me a radio button to switch it back to default. I did so. I then went into the settings, and turned ON RCS Chats again. 1 minute later, it finally verified successfully! I then deleted Chomps cache and data, and removed it.

      you can reset your phone to factory setting though you will lose all your phone data information (log ins, passwords) but it will automatically enabled RCS once you toggled it on after reset

    How did you get carrier service's mines not in there

    • @Aloha_Android
      @Aloha_Android  5 месяцев назад

      It's a system app so it's not anything you download from the Play store. In settings app when you got to list of installed application make sure you can see system apps on the list. There may be a toggle you have to select or the 3 dots at the top right corner of the screen. It depends on what type of device you have.

      @@jasonhamilton1727 I posted in my community tab some photos of how you can find the carrier service app. My device is running stock Android so it may be different for One UI and Samsung set up. Basically if there is a setting to show system apps in all app list you'll need to enable it
