There could be a problem with the dpf pressure sensor been contaminated with the cleaning fluid with the last clean when the sensor goes faulty can show strange readings i would change have checked the sensor or replaced it also checked the the two pipes going from the sensor to the dpf for any blockade these vans regen at around 15g soot

Hi Jimmy , so even if you told/programmed the PCM a new DPF replacement had been fitted this would re occur pretty much straight away ?

Hi, following your Chanelle for some time.
I'm looking to replace my old peugeot partner, 1.9.
From what I can see from your work, all the new vans are robish, I want your opinion, is there something reliable?
    Bigger will be better..
Something like citroen jumpy, renault traffic, or even ducato , master or iveco daily.
    The German seems more expensive...
At least where i live, i dont have rust problems (SPAIN)
I don't want to buying new, it's became so expensive this days...
    Thanks a lot.
    Nice Chanel. 👍👍

Love your videos one of the very few who mentions pressure which alot of cowboys don't. Sorry but I don't agree with your view it needs replacing . These dpfs suffer ash and no on car cleaning will remove ash. All on car cleaning only wets the ash and as your video shows will leave pressure in the system resistance via flow . Remove the dpf and flash clean to remove the Ash and dpf will be good. Next video place your fingers up the exhaust and if its clean the dpf is working correctly and does not need replacing only cleaning correctly.

Hi Jimmy got one of these with antipoillition fault. Only code is preheating diagnostic connection . Had all glow plugs out and checked em all. All fine. There's only about 7 v going to glow plugs surely there should be 12v. Does that code cause dpf to block up on these? Thanks

Did the van or the launch tool indicate the van was regenerating? How was you made aware this was happening?
Great vids by the way, I will definitely try to log on using my launch software as a Renault not a Vauxhall from now on 👍👍

Not the outcome we expect, but not all clogged DPFs can be cleaned this way. Wonder if an ultrasonic cleaning of the ceramic element could still save it.

    • @ORileysAutos
      @ORileysAutos  8 месяцев назад +2

If they can't be cleaned this way I wouldn't risk spending the labour to remove it and try to clean to fit it back and find it's no good. I think the subframe has to come off to remove the DPF on these biturbo's

these vans seem to be made using cheap parts

I don't understand if you're unplugging the differential sensor on this van or some other sensor because you're not referring to the name?

How can it be that you so often have Trafics with DPF problems? 👀
Other than in your videos, I have never heard, seen or read about any DPF problems on these vans.

Most vans that don't ever get up to temperature suffer badly, for example people that sit in London traffic on a day to day basis and never go on motorways seem to suffer alot

I worked at a depot where 5/6 of us had Traffic/vivaros and we all had issues apart from 1 guy but can't be certain he didn't. We got rid of them eventually and some of us spent £1,000s. They're not fit for purpose and Vauxhall couldn't fix mine nor did they care.

I used this video as a good guide on my vivaro, I sprayed dpf cleaning into the small pipe there was a blockage and it could gain pressure. flushed with DPF cleaner however the engine wasn't on and now the van won't start at all.. tries to crank but won't fire. can anyone give any ideas to what is going on?
