Nor-Cal Refrigeration & H.V.A.C For a mainly residential tech like me, the app works well but its very basic without a ton of features. Its really designed for a refer guy such as yourself. Thanks for watching Dave.
Does the transducer have the same pressure reading range for either one? Another word, can I use the blue one, low or suction, one to read high or liquid line?
StockVideoFootage The pressure transducers are dedicated low pressure and high pressure. To my knowledge not interchangable. The line sensors however can be used for high or low temp readings.
Joe Shearer That I can't answer Joe. From my experience they need zeroed as much, if not more frequently than the Testo which as you know aren't compensated. None of the packaging indicates temperature compensation but Sporlan assured me they are.
HVAC in SC that's very odd. I wonder if they are confused what temp compensated means. If you were to power them on and zero them out....then put in your freezer I wonder what might happen.
An open swivel jaw (like saddle tap valves for water lines) would be a lot better for clamping on lines for the temp probes instead of using ty-wraps. Terrible design. Something simple like a wing nut to tighten the clamps together to hold the temp probe in place would simplify things for us technicians. Seems like a waste of money in ty-wraps.
The testo app looks visually pleasing compared to sporlan app. How do you like the sporlan app?

If the pressures are temp compensated why do you think they were drifting even during the distance test ?
