It looks pretty impressive for a portable monitor. I like that it has speakers built in.

it is a nice monitor although for myself I would have to print some risers as it is far too low to the table for me, surely they could design a folder that raises it up off the table a couple of inches
Nice! I use my Pi in my caravan to watch movies (using an older DC powered monitor) The VESA mount & cabling options might let me neaten things up AND reduce power consumption.
Just double check it has the VESA mount if you order, as another comment said one they ordered one in the past that didn’t have a vesa mount.

This is an important consideration when traveling and, ahem, a friend decided to use the daypack the portable monitor is in, as a makeshift pillow and ended up with spider web. 📺🕸😭
I got a similar monitor buy Evciv helped me figure out the touch screen part. had a feeling i was over looking something. Just wish there wasnt so many usb c cable to use. dont make it for a simple portable setup lolz.

Did you have to do anything to enable multitouch?
I didn’t change anything to allow touch.
I guess I am in the minority, I just don't have a use for these portable monitors. They are cool technology.

How did you get Google PlayStore and so on?
Did you install the FydeOS for Raspberry Pi or another?
The Installation for Raspberrypi does not come with Google PlayStore :/

I have a question can a usb a to usb c be able to power and get video feed with the touch effect work on this monitor? I’m trying to get 3 of these for my desktop pc but have them all work on 1 cable to power it and get video

It depends on the os. I would expect only one touchscreen per os, but I haven’t tried.
@@leepspvideo I wanted to get 2 of these in 14inch but have 1 cable power it and get video but my windows 10 pc had no usb c ports but a lot of usb a ports so I was curious could I get a adapter or get like a usb a to c and buy 2 and see if it would work but I’m worried it won’t
@@InSaiyan-Shinobi you could try asking Wimaxit. The monitors can be powered by usb and connected to HDMi.

I'm pi***d off. I bought one of these just before Christmas from Amazon UK and mine doesn't have the VESA 75mm mount on the back (Would have been very useful). Model number M1400CT, which is the same model as the Amazon UK link. I wonder if the model numbers are the same on the review item, or has Wimaxit added the VESA 75mm mount without changing the model number? Worth checking before buying!
I just checked the UK link and the official link. No mention of the VESA mount in both descriptions. I also checked the instructions and can’t find it mentioned.
I’ll add a note to the description to check with the supplier.

try Gimp and Inkscape, they work on Pi
You do not need to power the monitor via power socket, you can power the monitor via USB to USB C cable fro the Pi

Yes, but MacOS doesn’t support touch.
Lee, at around 5:36 your voice sample rate seems to have changed for a few seconds, make you sound like a chipmunk.
That’s my normal voice. I slow it down for videos.
