- The Weird Things Cover of Queen Bitch, Written by David Bowie.
This band is made up of Simon who is the Bass player in CASE since 2013 and played guitar with The Riffs in the 80's... Martin is the drummer in CASE, and was in Blood and Roses and Dirty Love.... Mr Jan was the Bass player of Dogbonfire and we have the brilliant Charlie on vocals. There is so much more we could put and go on and on that we did this and that but that's all in the past. All that matters now is what we do with THE WEIRD THINGS. Join us for the ride. It will be fun.....
I really enjoy your take, listen to it a lot, thanks.
I really love this
One of my favourite Bowie songs confidently covered by one of Surreys up and coming bands. It could of gone so horribly wrong - but it didn't, great cover and video!
Thank you very much indeed! Yes it could have gone very wrong but we love mr B' as an artist so we had to try to do it some justice....
Some songs are probably best left alone. This song is hallowed ground..
Awesome!!! Love it :-D
superb version
Got to say that I love the original , but I love yours too.
Just superb, and you transfixed the crowd at the Lexington , they all wanted more, more , MORE !!! watch this space peeps.
Chrissy thank you ever so much.... We had a fantastic time on stage! and the moped crowd were just wonderful. Loved Tv Smith what a performer and the Bored Teanagers and superb band..... Johnny Moped, amazing, brilliant as ever. Our virgin gig... could not have asked for more....
Super cool video guys!
Sprinkled with some Dr Crippen magic.... what else could it be.
Great cover, good singing!! Maybe there are more Bowie songs that will be matching with image of The Weird Things, songs from album The Man Who Sold The World and Ziggy Stardust.
I hope you will also cover Ziggy Stardust, Moonage Daydream, Hang on to yourself, Sweet Head
Thanks a lot Hans..
martin parrott, you are welcome
Take a look at the band Hans... THE WEIRD THINGS next gig. 24th November.

fantastic cover of a classic Bowie song.... love what you've done. Cracking video too.
Cheers..
Congrats....Great Bowie cover song...Very well done and great video!...Bowie would be proud!
Thank you...
No...Thank You! Credit had to be given where credit was due! Also the lead singer looks just like my Daughter, I showed Her the Vid and She loved it also!...Plus She is a big Bowie fan herself since She grew up and listening to Me play Bowie all the time!...Question?....What is the lead female singers name?
This is another song you may like...No prizes for who it's about..soundcloud.com/the-weird-things/mr-jones
Hi Martin, Great song...Really like it! Been trying to clarify all the lyrics but by chance would it be about Mr. David Robert Jones himself?...Seems to be some of the lyrics would pertain to him and a few riffs kinda seems like some of his stuff! Wish I had a MP3 version of this song!...Again like it...Keep up the great work!
You can get the mp3 from Amazon...www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Dpopular&field-keywords=the+weird+things+ten+digit+freak
Great idea for a cover and I thought this came off well at The Lexington last night. Rather a lot of swearing during the onstage intros though! (I don't mention this because I was offended, but because it seemed at odds with the band's 'cool style' image, and the sense of mystique encouraged by the make up, etc.)
+ViscountVile I sort of know what u mean.I do...BUT hello ! most rock singers swear....Johnny Moped included, (lost count of the swearwords) who is COOL as F**K u will prob find a lack of swearing at a WI cake baking eve.not a punk gig... Charlie you owned that stage, and I know you were nervous as it was your first gig well you came across as a confident tigresss amazing job !!! Great front woman, who actually talked to the crowd ! Peace....each to their own I know some people like musicians just to play..but the Weirdos are a friendly bunch
They are a great set of guys we love 'em.... and they don't half knock out a great set of tunes... The new Album, ITS A REAL COOL BABY.... will be another classic... see you at the front!
